About this product
Years ago, a desperate man killed a mother of twin baby girls to appease his wife's desire for kids. He took them to a house in the woods, locked them in the basement, and claimed them as his own. His madness escalated over the next several years and to keep his dark secret he committed multiple murders including his wife. One night a fire broke out and caused the house to collapse on him and the twins and their story was buried forever. Present-day, a young woman flees to her uncle's old, secluded cabin in the same woods to escape her abusive boyfriend. Once there, the solace frees her mind, and she begins seeing ghosts of the little girls crying for their mother. As she tries desperately to figure out the mystery of her visions, her friends, unaware of her boyfriend's past abuse, bring him to see her. The twins appear more frequently as the truth begins to unravel and just when she is about to face her abusive boyfriend, she instead finds herself face to face with a madman in the middle of a murder spree.

On September 6th, 2003, four cousins - Rhea, Connor, Alan and Steve - head out on a road trip before Steve's posting to the Iraq War. While taking in the sights, filming, and squabbling along the way, they meet a mysterious hitchhiker who claims to have his own military past. The events following this ill-fated meeting were found on a damaged camera, depicting the brutal murder of the cousins at the hands of the hitcher.
When a tormented father goes to a remote cabin in the woods to face his personal demons, he learns of the local werewolf lore from the townspeople. Befriending the sheriff, he joins him in trying to put an end to whatever is causing the chaos in the small community. But to his dismay, he finds that he must face the truth of his troubled past or risk becoming part of the legend.
Tyler (Jacob Scipio) and Maddie (Lou Llobell) had enough of just getting by in NYC, and chose to chuck it all for taking to the road in a van. It'd be a decision they'd regret for the most horrific of reasons, as-after witnessing a grisly accident they were helpless to prevent-they'd find their steps dogged by a legendary malevolent entity that attaches itself to helpless travelers. Unnerving effort from director André Øvredal also stars Melissa Leo, Miles Fowler, Joseph Lopez. 94 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.
