The FortiAP 221K is an enterprise Wi-Fi 7 access point. It uses a dual-radio 2x2 MU-MIMO design (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) to deliver up to 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 2.882 Gbps on 5 GHz. It connects with 1x 2.5 GbE multi-gigabit RJ45 port (802.3at PoE in) and adds an integrated BLE/ZigBee radio. It is designed for indoor use and plenum rated (UL2043), and it ships with a ceiling, T-rail and wall mounting kit. FortiAP access points are managed centrally from the integrated wireless controller in any FortiGate or from FortiEdge Cloud, so wired and wireless security policy lives in one place. WPA3 and WPA2-Enterprise encryption, rogue AP detection and WIDS/WIPS protect the wireless network, and the access point is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
