Metallica - Garage Inc - VINYL LP
4.0(1)

Triple vinyl LP repressing of this 1998 album from the Metal maestros. Metallica is easily one of the best, most influential Heavy Metal bands of the '80s. Responsible for bringing the genre back to Earth, the bandmates looked and talked like they were from the street, shunning the usual rockstar games of Metal musicians during the early '80s. They expanded the limits of Thrash, using speed and volume not for their own sake, but to enhance their intricately structured compositions. Album Tracks 1. Free Speech for the Dumb (Discharge) 2. It's Electric (Diamond Head) 3. Sabbra Cadabra (Black Sabbath) 4. Turn the Page (Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band) 5. Die, Die My Darling (Misfits) 6. Loverman (Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds) 7. Mercyful Fate (Mercyful Fate) 8. Astronomy (Blue Oyster Cult) 9. Whiskey in the Jar (Thin Lizzy) 10. Tuesday's Gone (Lynyrd Skynyrd) 11. The More I See (Discharge) 12. Helpless (Diamond Head) 13. The Small Hours (Holocaust) 14. The Wait (Killing Joke) 15. Crash Course in Brain Surgery (Budgie) 16. Last Caress/Green Hell (Misfits) 17. Am I Evil? (Diamond Head) 18. Blitzkrieg (Blitzkrieg) 19. Breadfan (Budgie) 20. The Prince (Diamond Head) 21. Stone Cold Crazy (Queen) 22. So What (The Anti-Nowhere League) 23. Killing Time (Sweet Savage) 24. Overkill (Motorhead) 25. Gnarls Barkley - The Odd Couple - VINYL LP

With it's cinematic origins The Odd Couple is the natural title for thesecond album by a pair who seem to spend as much time in wardrobeas the studio and whose recordings are often compared to film scores.Their greatest hit, 2006's InchCrazyInch was even built around a chunk of aspaghetti western soundtrack. Yet after the success of 2006'sexcellent St Elsewhere, the collaboration of singer Thomas InchCee-LoGreenInch Callaway and producer Brian InchDanger MouseInch Burton hasbecome a permanent institution. Two years on, The Odd Couple stands up proudly alongside it'spredecessor. The basic recipe hasn't been drastically altered-DangerMouse's skittering beats and snap-crackle-pop production still providethe perfect for Cee-Lo's mighty, soulful wail. If anything, thepair have refined and sharpened their approach to a razor's edge. Thekey is the way the musical flavors intersect the Arthur Lee-meetsN.E.R.D. stroll of InchSurprise,Inch the jubilant jumble of gospel/soul/synthpopon InchGoing On,Inch the Otis Redding-shares-a-treadmill-with-Outkast feel ofthe single InchRun (I'm a Natural Disaster).Inch The cumulative effect is oneof a group whose trick-bag has a never-ending supply of happysurprises. Album Tracks 1. Charity Case 2. Who's Gonna Save My Soul 3. Going on 4. Run (I'm a Natural Disaster) 5. Would Be Killer 6. Open Book 7. Whatever 8. Surprise 9. No Time Soon 10. She Knows 11. Blind Mary 12. Neighbors 13. A Little Better
