Friday Night Lights [Blu-ray]

Friday Night Lights shines brighter than ever as the critically acclaimed series arrives in a 4-disc collection. From producers Brian Glazer (The Da Vinci Code), Peter Berg (The Kingdom) and Jason Katims (NBC's Parenthood) and inspired by the best-selling book and hit film, Friday Night Lights provides a heartfelt look at the families, friendships, and faiths of residents in a closely knit Texan town. Featuring an incredible ensemble cast, this intense and compelling show has critics saying Inchthere is no finer or truer drama on network TVInch (Matt Roush, TV Guide).

In the tradition of FIELD OF DREAMS, BULL DURHAM, and ANGELS IN THE OUTFIELD, former high school football star turned farmer and family man, Scott Murphy (Brian Presley) finds himself with a unique opportunity to revisit the championship game where he permanently injured his knee in a game-winning play. Given a second shot at football fame, Scott seeks counsel from his longtime mentor on and off the field, Coach Hand (Kurt Russell) to help him decide whether to let his fate unfold, or follow a path that will change his future.
