Friend of a Friend - Desire! - VINYL LP

Convinced Friend - Convinced Friend [VINYL LP] Colored Vinyl, Cream date 03/29/2024

Convinced Friend is the musical project of singer-songwriter Austin Wilson. Originally from an oilfield town south of New Orleans, he relocated to New England in 2018 which led to a renewed commitment to songwriting. The result is a collection of largehearted indie rock songs. From the motorik pulse of album opener InchWhite Collar' dissecting the alienation of modern work and wellness, to the dusky waltz of InchSafeway' addressing lingering questions of long-term commitment, to the pensive and layered arrangements in InchOpen BloomInch and InchWhen I GoInch, the album incorporates a wide swath of dynamics centered on rich guitar work and a clear lyrical voice and resolve. RIYL Pedro The Lion, Jose Gonzales, Jason Molina, Red House Painters.
