Excellent purchase!!!! I bought this 10,000 btu unit to replace an 8000. Every summer I run two 4000s and one 8000 to cool and 1100 sq ft house. This unit was put to the test with an early heatwave this year. We had 5 days of 90 degree weather. Happy to say I didn’t even need to run the smaller units. This one cooled the entire house!! I actually had to raise the temp a couple of times because I was cold. Great AC. Easy to install. Not too loud. Looks nice and will save me money on the electric bill. Thanks Fridgidaire!!

pros: cools room very good quite compared to other units i had cons: must use remote to change settings and remote itself is horrible , unable to see what changes your making unless setting right in front of unit

Easy to install, comes with all required items, easy to follow instructions, works like a charm, provides cool air as we need especially with heat wave and wildlife. It comes with remotes

I am a senior and had a 12000 btu air conditioner. It kept my home very cool and I have never had a moments problem with it. However, it was too heavy for me to put in my window. I decided to try a 10000 btu. I was concerned that it would not cool the room. I am happy to report that it has exceeded my expectations. The house is cool and I can manage putting it in the window myself. Recommend this air conditioner. Frigidaire has never disappointed me.

Easy to install, nice controls, handy remote. Blowing cold air in no time. It defaults to Eco mode, so when I turn it on I de-activate that feature so it runs without shutting on and off. The compressor will still cycle but I like the fan running. The adhesive strips were handy to seal around the edges of the unit as it did have gaps. The unit does let light in through the top so depending on where it is the vents can be a source of bright light in a dark room.

Running strong 2 years later. I would heartily recommend this one.

this was the perfect fit for my window, all others were big in size and same BTU's, was easy to install, and working perfectly fine, cooling the big living room easily,

Bought for my room . Keep the house at 74° byt I like my room at 68° . Very quiet for how big it is . Keeps or gets down to 62° quick .

I have only given this review 2 stars because I have not really tested this air conditioner in the summertime yet. Summer will be the litmus test. I bought this AC in mid-March and it was delivered much earlier that expected. The fan works great and the power is adequate for the room that I spend the most time. My previous AC broke last May but thankfully, the 2020 summer in my area was not too hot. However, I feel it is a bit underpowered for my whole apartment. Controls are easy to use and I like the size. They are making 10,000 BTU ACs much smaller than they used to. I think it was a decent investment and I also like the 2 years warranty.

This unit has been the best we’ve ever had. Living in a home with strictly window units for over 2 years, this has made a difference in our home!

Great Air conditioner, cools the area quickly. While still loud it is quieter than my last Toshiba AC. My only complaint is the mode lights on the display are small and hard to tell what setting it is on at times. Overall its great.

Quiet and efficient. I had a previous Frigidaire from 2008 that this replaced. So much more quiet. You can still hear the fan and the wind rush do don't expect it to be silent, but for the price point it runs extremely efficiently.

Great air conditioners. I bought two of them for a rental property. The tenants really like them and say they are really quiet. I would buy again.

This has been an excellent unit so far. It seems to be of very high quality and it's worked very well through the heat waves. It is incredibly heavy though, even heavier than I expected. My main problem with the unit is that the thermostat is inside, causing the unit to stop running long before the room actually gets to the set temperature. I have seen that some Frigidaire models have the thermostat in the remote, which would have been really handy. All in all, though, I would definitely recommend this model.

This is the loudest air conditioner that I have ever owned. I understand that there really is no truly 'quiet' window unit, especially up close, so I expect some degree of noise. But this unit is beyond noisy. Even set on fan only it's loud, and with the compressor on, it's too loud to be in the same room. I turn it off intermittently to get some peace and quiet. And it cools the room well, it's an air conditioner.

Came with a few damages. Not satisfied with the way it came. Best buy should check the products before shipping to customers.

Great AC. Does the job. No complaints. Frigidaire is the best brand in AC.
