A: I only use this unit in my garage from time to time and have not had to drain so I assume that it evaporates. It does have a location in the back to connect an external drain i.e a garden hose. Hope this was helpful.
A: What I have gathered from my usage is that it has a drain plug that has to be removed and drained into a container, which is somewhat difficult due to the height of the drain plug being too close to the floor. The simpler option for me was to remove the plug and let it drain into a towel. For the price I payed I can live with it but at full price I would look for another option.
