I am really pleased with this unit. Not all 8000 BTU A/C's are the same. This one really does the job. It was not on sale so cost about $20 more than another brand but it is worth the difference.

2 units arrived damaged

I ordered the first unit and it arrived open with significant damage. Customer service had me on the phone for an hour all to tell me to return it to the store. The store tried to refuse the return saying it was purchased online. They finally ordered me a replacement unit which was also damaged. Off to the store again to return AGAIN

Works good, keeps room cool. Starts on eco so if you want it off make sure to hit the mode button. And I installed it myself with just one person- not too heavy or bulky which I appreciated during the install :)

Good AC but fan is very loud at high

I'm happy with this AC, worked well on those 100 degee days and did not let me down. The AC is in a big bedroom and has been flawless. The flaw in this AC is the fan is very loud at high and even at medium is pretty loud. I usually keep the fan at low which is barely okay. This AC is a sure buy at under $300.

I Ordered online , shipping was fast . Got this as a gift for Mothers day . The air conditioner fills the room with cold air within minutes and compared to old air conditioners this one is quieter .

Best Buy is the Worst Buy

The issue is not with product-it involves the despicable customer service. Buyer Beware: if you reside in a cooperative, condo, or townhouse, Best Buy will not complete a certificate of insurance that is provided by your management company. Best Buy maintains its own certificate of insurance, and will only complete its document.-not the document provided by your management company. As a result, the a/c was not installed . Horrible.
