A: Despite one answer saying it wouldn't fit, I went ahead with the installation anyway. The installer took about 30 minutes for the entire installation and had zero issues. So it is a suitable replacement.

A: We replaced an existing FGMV175QFA Microwave and everything matched up. To figure this ahead of time, I searched for installation instructions for both online and confirmed the bracket matched. Be careful on the vent. Hidden in the installation instructions is a way of rotating the vent fan for a vent that goes straight up vs one that goes straight back. Make sure you rotate the fan if needed for your install.

If preferred, duct work can be set up for outside venting, but it is not necessary and the microwave will perform well while recirculating exhaust. ~Ashton
