This is my first induction cooktop and I’m loving it. It boils so fast. It takes just a little getting used to because the heat stops instantly, and it stays at the number you set it at. It doesn’t cycle up and down like a traditional stove. As for this Frigidaire model, I can’t imagine wanting anything else.

Really like the clean design of this CookTop. Have had a little issue of water splashing and shutting off control. But not enough to warrant not buying this unit. Looks great boils a pan of water in about 3 min. Very fast. Really like the touch controls and how fast the response is. Going from gas to electric was a big concern. But we are over them. Haven’t had a chance to use the griddle option yet but it still looks handy.

Works well, looks good, very thin that allows a drawer right under the unit.

Got this after our last flat cooktop (non-induction) shorted out and burned up its control panel. It was also a Fridigaire, so we're hoping this one lasts a bit longer...last one was only about 4 years. For us, this was one of the few models that checked all the boxes for us: (1) it wasn't crazy expensive, (2) same size as the previous one, so it would fit the same counter cut-out, (3) works fine off a 30amp circuit. The third point was probably the most difficult to find, as many cooktops and ranges now look to be 40-50 amp. Installation was very easy - we had 3 wires to wire up into the junction box right below the cookstop. Tools needed: electrical tape, wire nuts, electrical tape, wire strippers (optional) and a screw driver. Once hooked up and the power was turned back on at the breaker, we gave it a try. On the "full power" mode this is a beast - in a very unscientific timed test, 4 cups of water got to a raging boil in around 75 seconds. That's much faster than any non-induction that we've had before. One last call out - this does make a buzzing sound when its on, like all other induction cooktops. It may sound like something electric is shorting out, but that's just the way it works... The only reason for not giving a full 5 stars is the "touch" controls. I think they're actually buttons...maybe. Even only a couple weeks in, they don't always register when we press it...we've found that keeping them clean and dry is more necessary than our old stoves with knobs. All in all, a good cooktop at a good price. Here's hoping it holds up for many years!

This stovetop has been fantastic. The burners heat up quickly and offer great control, whether I’m simmering something delicate or bringing a big pot to a boil. The layout is spacious, and I love having a high-power burner for fast cooking. Cleanup is a breeze—the surface wipes down easily and still looks brand new. The knobs are sturdy, responsive, and feel high-quality, not flimsy like some other models I’ve used. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this stovetop. It looks beautiful, performs flawlessly, and makes cooking genuinely enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Bought this to replace a regular cook top. Love how the induction works. Immediately heats up and quick cool to touch. Still trying to learn all the options with power boost and temperature lock but working great so far.

Works great. Easy to install. Picked it up at my local Best Buy store unboxed it installed it in about an hour and a half.

Works great. The 2 large burners are really 10". All the specs. say 8". I would give it 5 stars except the controls are not so easy to manuever to the setting you want. Might just be me, I seem to have issues with touch screens. I have cooked all kinds of things from fried tacos which came out perfect to simmering a pot of chili, sauteeing vegetables, searing meat - all good. We had to hire someone to make the cooktop cutout bigger and have an electrician install an electrical connection. Totally worth it to no longer worry about gas fumes or accidently leaving it on.

You have all the advantages of gas and all the advantages of electric with none of the disadvantages. And, you can boil 2 C of water in less than a minute on one of the two large burners and just over a minute on the smaller ones. It is easy to clean. I spray it with cooktop cleaner and wipe it down each time I use it. It looks brand new all the time!

I’ve been really happy with my Frigidaire induction cooktop. The speed is the standout feature it boils a large pot of water in about 3 minutes, which is a huge upgrade from traditional electric cooking. It heats quickly and responds fast when adjusting temperatures, making cooking feel much more efficient. I know some people mention the noise that comes with induction cooking, but it honestly doesn’t bother me. It’s just different from what you hear with a standard stove, and I got used to it quickly. My only real complaint is how sensitive the touch controls are. If anything damp or wet gets on the buttons, the cooktop starts beeping and won’t stop until the surface is dried or wiped clean. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can be a little annoying while cooking. Overall, though, I’d definitely recommend it for the speed, convenience, and performance.

I always worried that touch controls in an envrioment prone to water would be an issue and this cooktop confirmed my concerns. Get any boilover or slaty wet hands and the controls become slow to unresponsive. Other than the controls I have never been able to heat pots and pans up so fast it really does change how you cook since you will save time. I also did not know that at higher levels your pots will buzz like a giant transfomer.

Love this stove! Heats up super fast and turns off right away if the pot over flows. Cool to the touch once done!

We replaced our Frigidaire electric cooktop with the induction model and what a difference. It took some getting used to but after cooking a few times we were able to determine what setting to use for various types of cooking/dishes. It boils water almost instantly and is super easy to clean. I also like that the cooktop turns itself off if there is not a pan on the eye.

Replaced my Frigidaire Gallery gas cooktop with this about 5 months ago. I like the clean look of the flat-top and how it makes the countertop look bigger. I'm amazed at how quickly it boils water compared to gas! Most happy with the fact that I no longer get the poor air quality alerts on my ecobee like I used to when cooking with gas. It does make a little buzzing sound when it's on ... don't really notice that anymore. I haven't experienced the issues of changing temps that I've seen in some of the reviews ... if you're comfortable with a smart phone, you'll be able to figure out the controls. Very happy with this purchase and I've recommended this to friends and family.

Super easy install and boils super fast. Touch screen could use a little work for adjusting power with fat fingers but over all very satisfied with this product.

Fits my counter space and works well. Use care around the control panel as the slightest touch can change things. I hope this lasts longer than the last one I bought like it. It took almost a year for Electrolux to honor the warranty and provide a refund. If this model dies it is not worth repairing but Elctrolux will dance you around.

Easy to use. Even thought this is an “entry level” induction cooktop it performs just like one of the more expensive ones. So happy to be rid of the electric one. We had gas in our last house. This is just as good.

Love the induction! I did burn my first meal— haha! But I love the speed with which it can cook. I also love how it looks. I recommend getting Cerama Bryte Touchips. Makes clean ups easy. Price is right too
