A: The knobs do not get hot. I noticed this complaint on several reviews of ovens and was somewhat concerned. But there is no problem with this model.
A: The bulb that comes with the unit is very cheaply made, mine went bad right away, when I went to remove the bulb it fell apart in my hand. Buy a brand name, well made bulb.
