Assuming you’ve heard that it takes beautiful photos, has robust film simulation functionality, has decent battery life for a “casual” travel photographer (100ish a day, rarely had camera die), has slightly annoying menu UI. I took this as my one camera setup for a 6-month round the world trip. It held up to a lot of travel, rainy walks and more than one fall. Were there times I wished I had a larger lens? Sure, but the fixed lens forced me to create images that were delightful for unexpected reasons. I can’t recommend this system highly enough

I recently purchased this camera at retail price and it has been a very interesting camera. Honestly, I’ve been debating whether to keep it or not almost every day. When you look at the specs on paper, it feels overpriced… but the second you actually hold it, use it, and see the results, you’re reminded why everyone loves this camera. The biggest thing for me is the feeling of using it. The excitement I get from shooting with this is nothing like what I get from my Sony A7III and A6400. Those Sonys are amazing workhorse cameras, but they feel clinical and soulless. This camera makes me want to go out and create images. After going back and forth for the past two weeks, I’ve decided I’m keeping it—because keeping that photography excitement alive is worth more than a spec sheet. Now for the technical stuff. I really only have two major complaints: 1) Autofocus speed/effort (coming from Sony): It’s not “bad,” but it feels slow compared to Sony. Sony autofocus feels effortless—you point, it grabs focus, and you move on. With this camera, I have to be more intentional and sometimes work a bit more to get the focus exactly where I want it. For slower shooting (street, portraits, everyday life), it’s totally manageable, but if you’re used to Sony-level AF, you’ll notice the difference immediately. 2) Battery life: The battery life is actually bad. I don’t see myself shooting all day on one battery. I’ve already had to charge it in between uses, and I’m planning to buy extra batteries to keep on me. If you’re considering this camera, I’d honestly treat extra batteries as part of the cost. A smaller thing: the menu system could definitely be improved. It feels like a lot is going on, and it’s not as intuitive as I’d like. I’m sure I’ll get used to it more over time, but it’s not a smooth experience at first. I attached photos of how I set up the camera, plus sample images I’ve taken with it (including a couple of recipes and some Lightroom edits). Overall, if you’re the type of person who cares about the shooting experience and you want a camera that makes you excited to create, this is one of those rare cameras that actually delivers that feeling—even if you have to accept the focus and battery compromises.

Although it was a bit of a splurge I have ZERO regrets! It was tough to find but definitely got lucky. The quality of the photos is top notch and the film simulations give a lot of variety. It takes some getting use to but it’s enjoyable to dig into details of using this camera.

I owned both Leica Q3 and the X100VI I love them both. The quality is great I found myself using the Fuji more due to the weight and size. Both produce great image even the Leica with a sharper lens and larger aperture. The pro about Fuji is the custom recipes,

Came perfectly packaged with care and lots of padding — quite fast as well. Great that Best Buy sells brand new at MSRP value. Camera settings take some time to get used to if you're new to photography or the Fujifilm interface, but one short trip should get you using the features to their fullest extent — or however you choose to use it, whether it be travel, semi-professional, casual/lifestyle, food, content creation, or just as a hobby. Amazingly slim profile which makes it easily portable in a small sling bag or tote, while keeping that sleek, stylish, and high quality feel.

It’s a great camera, I took it on a trip to Italy and took amazing pictures. Significantly better quality than iPhone 15 Pro. Small, beautiful design and powerful.

Shipped quick! Delivered fast! Perfect condition. I literally ordered this to get back into posting on social media but doing so from a distance. Minimizing screen time by focusing on looking for the shot through the camera. This has been such a great purchase. Expensive fora point and shoot but I love the simplicity of that.

I’m new to photography and this camera is way beyond my skills. I say that to give my review context as someone who really doesn’t know what’s going on. I think this camera is amazing. It has its limitations for sure but it is also has a lot going for it. Built in ND filter, IBIS, built in flash, and a tilt screen. It’s weather sealed with an adapter and filter on the lens which is nice. The can be had for less that 20 dollars for a nice one. For me this camera helps me just take pictures. I spend a lot less time thinking about the equipment because of the fixed lens. It’s small enough that it doesn’t take up to much room and when slang it won’t get in the way. Very compact for what it can do. Really look into what you need though. Personally I fight with the idea of just getting the other cheaper options from Fuji like the xt30iii or xm5 as they would be much cheaper and probably match my use cases much better. This camera is not cheap but you won’t find this style and feature set in to many cameras. I find taking pictures with this camera to be enjoyable and inspiring. It’s got style so it doesn’t look dumb walking around with it. Really it’s a camera that makes you feel like using it. If you want the one from Best Buy just be patient and look on Thursday mornings. I randomly got mine not thinking to hard about it from BB.

I’ve been really enjoying the Fujifilm X100IV. It strikes the perfect balance between being compact enough to take everywhere and powerful enough to deliver truly beautiful images. The film simulations give photos a unique character straight out of the camera, so I spend less time editing and more time shooting. The fixed lens pushes me to be more intentional with my compositions, and the overall shooting experience feels fun and inspiring. It’s one of those cameras that actually makes you want to go out and take pictures every day.

The Fujifilm X100VI is a great compact camera for everyday use. The image quality it produces is amazing, and I’m really happy I was able to get my hands on one. It’s easy to use, even if you’re still learning photography. My favorite feature is the preinstalled film simulations because they give photos a unique look straight out of the camera and make shooting even more fun.

As stupid as that sounds, It's the truth. I bought this just to play around with and keep the joy of photography alive but didn't realize how much I'd end up using it for professional work as well. I just wanted something fun to bring around with me. Didn't want to have to carry around a bunch of heavy lenses. Needed something simple that I didn't have to do very much or even any post-work at all. This thing is a power house. The imagery that comes out of it really is amazing, With all the different recipes you can have saved you can pick your look with little to no editing afterwards.
