Fujifilm - XF 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR Zoom Lens - Black

I have had the Fuji 18-135mm, f/3.5-5.6 for about 3 weeks and so far it has met all of my expectations. I wanted a little greater reach than my 18-55mm Fuji kit lens gives me, as a walk-a-round lens with my XT-1. Although it’s larger than the 18-55mm kit lens, the package is still smaller and lighter than my Nikon D7000 with it’s 18-105mm lens as a travel / walk-a-round package. I’m not a pixle-peeker. So far I find the lens very sharp. I’m glad that I have it as it gives me a little more flexibility without having to change lenses.

I paused at first, before purchasing, due to the price. But after using the lens, I was very pleased with the build quality. Plus it is sealed, weather resistant, like the XT-1 camera body. Not to mention, and most importantly, the image quality from this lens. No disappointments here.

Awesome lense. Lives up to the standard. Perfect for my everyday needs, in fact lost all my needs. No need to take it off.

Fantastic lens, which is what I expect from an XF lens from Fuji. The range of zoom is perfect, about a 27-200 full frame equivalent, so it covers just about any situation, and paired with the IBIS of the XH2s, it even gives me smooth 4K footage zoomed out while at Dog Park. Highly recommended.

I like the quality and its look but definitely I prefer to use my prime lens for better photos. Good as an all-purpose lens.
