This is my first scanner that isn't a flat bed, and I am really impressed. It attaches to my workstation wirelessly, and it allow for the set up of multiple scanning profiles, specifying the type of document, the quality, and the location to store the captured image to (even to a cloud service like dropbox). The scanner is very compact / fits nicely on my desk. The scanning speed is really fast, and it scans both the front and back of the documents. It also scans business cards and receipts, and captures the detailed information in both the scan and in text format for metadata that is searchable. I really love this scanner.

This is my 3rd Fujitsu ScanSnap I have purchased for home/office use. I have still have the original S1500 hooked up to an older iMac. I had been using the iX500 the fees since it came out. The iX500 needs to be connected to a computer so I never really utilized the WiFi feature. Let’s face it you can find awesome scanning mobile apps for phones and tablets. So if I need to scan something on the fly I can. I scan everything automatically into Dropbox so whatever I scan is always accessible from any of my devices any time and anywhere. With the iX1500 I can leave it set up near the counter where incoming mail usually stacks up. Now I can open the mail or empty my receipts etc. and scan them and then throw them into the recycling bin! My iX500 is connected to computer on my desk in my office so I would let things pile up and then eventually scan them. Now I can scan everything as it comes in and I just love not having to use a computer. I have tried Epson and brother scanners and returned them all because the ScanSnap software is the easiest and most efficient. At work we have various models of Fujitsu ScanSnaps and we are still using several of the older 1500s as well as the higher end models. We can’t use anything WiFi/Bluetooth for security reasons (Military). But the software and drivers for the ScanSnaps are extremely user friendly and reliable.

Helped me get rid of all my paper clutter at home. Easy to set up and use, highly recommend for beginners. Watched Alejandra Costello “Best scanner to go paperless” video on YouTube was hesitant at first due to price, but after seeing piles of paper ready to go to the trash I have to recommend this scanner!

Fast accurate but at times it comes to a halt and will not transfers data if one chooses the option of better quality scan. Epson still works better in my opinion. A lit too expensive for what it does It is not bad for just regular papers any thing that needs a better scan it gets confused so use for general home use Easy to set up Menu is easy to use Large screen

I should have splurged on a scanner this good years ago. Excellent scan quality, FAST, FAST, FAST, and will scan directly to email, a folder, the cloud... Highly recommended if you do a lot of scanning.

My NEAT scanner finally died and after a couple of hours of troubleshooting I started to shop for a scanner. As I was shopping for scanners, I saw great reviews for this scanner which included a plug-in to send scans to NEAT. The plug in is awesome and works amazing. I can scan everything really fast and it goes right into NEAT. I even called Tech Support for a problem I was having a with a huge receipt and talked to Minnesota Vikings fan who was so helpful and friendly. I am a Packer fan but at least he was friendly. I would highly recommend this scanner and this company.

I bought this scanner so I could start shredding old paperwork. I really like the ease of it - although it took me re-reading the instructions. It works so much better than using my all-in-one unit.

Good product, scan fast with good quality. Wireless connection may be need reset once a while, hard wire connection works great if there is enough port

I use a Mac most of the time and I had to upgrade the scanner to be compatible with the 64-bit Catalina operating system. I have long been a fan of the Fujitsu scanners. This machine appears to be on the same solid platform as my nine-year-old machine which operated perfectly but the new one has significantly updated software and does not need cables. This machine was very easy to set up and runs on my Mac, my iPad, my iPhones, and two Microsoft PC computers. At first I resented having to buy a new machine because of its wireless connectivity.

Speed. Quality. Requires little space and like the way it folds ups to be covered.

This scanner works even better and faster than our $15k Ricoh standup printer/scanner. we scanned over 160 banker boxes of docs so far and it is still working great. nothing bad i can say about the hardware because it is so great, but the software and installation could be improved and more user friendly.

This is the 3rd Fujitsu scanner I’ve purchased for my office. It’s pricey but I consider it essential to helping reduce paper that is not physically necessary to keep.

I was hesitant to spend a fistful but it's turning out to be everything the ad claimed and even more. Time will generate the truth.
