Fungus - DVD

In the wake of a deadly plague, society has collapsed, and a group of scientists seek a cure for a deadly fungus. However, when an outbreak occurs in their bunker, the survivors must seek new shelter while battling a violent madman.

Deep within a tranquil forest, five strangers meet at a secluded bed and breakfast. But one of these guests happens to be a mad scientist, who uses his vacation to accidentally create an army of killer mushrooms. Now unleashed on the other guests, and with the body count quickly piling up, it's up to the survivors to arm themselves and fight back against these slaughtering shrooms in hopes of stopping them from world domination!

Back in the early '60s, sketchy dermatologist Dr. Guy (George Hardy) was dead set on a patent for his cyst-removal laser... and canned nurse Patricia (Eve Habermann) when she insisted it wasn't ready. Well, the nodule he zapped on a test subject has grown into a cannibalistic monster-and Patricia may be the only hope for the poor slobs trapped in the lab! Lurid and laugh-laden horror homage also stars Greg Sestero, Jason Douglas, Darren Ewing, Gene Jones. 69 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.
