About this product

From swirling, tumultuous outbursts to pummeling destruction, the controlled chaos that is Future Death is ready to be unleashed in 2014. Stripping everything to the bone, the band's creative process is heavily linked to impulse as they capture their feelings organically and in the moment while leaving little room for conceptualization. The Austin based band formed in 2012 as Alton Jenkins and Bill Kenny began writing and recording what later evolved into their debut EP, which was self-released in the summer of 2013. They added bassist Jeremy Humphries to the lineup and vocalist Angie Kang found them later after months of writing. Special Victim, their forthcoming debut full-length on Bloodmoss Records, was recorded and mixed by This Will Destroy You's Alex Bhore in a funeral-home-turned-studio owned by producer John Congleton. With the creative tools at hand, Future Death took a bright, explosive approach on Special Victim. Like the band's overall creative process, the concept of impulse is apparent throughout album itself. There's not much time to breathe, and that's exactly why it is such a thrilling and powerful listen.

Rema Rema - Fond Reflections - VINYL LP

Vinyl LP pressing. Cult band Rema-Rema featured former members of The Models and Siouxsie and The Banshees, and their much-loved Wheel in the Roses EP (1980) was among the first records to be released on 4AD. Their only contribution to the tag's storied history, they split-up before it's , going on to form or join bands as diverse as Renegade Soundwave, The Wolfgang Press, Mass, and Adam and the Ants. The debut album that never was, Fond Reflections, comes almost forty years after their debut EP and has been culled from the band's rich archive of reel-to-reel and cassette recordings, with member Gary Asquith and mixing engineer Takatsuna Mukai painstakingly working on them to make the album as cohesive as possible. The ten tracks pretty much reflect the band's live set and is the closest to what their debut could have sounded like. Although all of their 1980 EP tracks are present, they all come from different recordings.

Tigers Jaw - Lost on You - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Influential rock band Tigers Jaw Lost on You, electrifyingly captures the beauty of simply letting go, remembering that you've survived what you've already experienced, and knowing that you'll get through life's latest transitions. Produced by longtime collaborator Will Yip (Turnstile, Scowl) builds upon the critical success of 2021's I Won't Care How You Remember Me, refining their vulnerable yet self-assured style with newfound dynamics, textures, and tones.

Future Kill - Mind Tasters Floor Wasters - VINYL LP

Future Kill is the brainchild of Mikey Blackhurst and Kristin Maloney from Brain Bagz fame. Mind Tasters Floor Wasters, is the first stab from Future Kill. Recorded during the Circus Fire that was 2020 with a cast of characters too numerous and or depraved to mention, this... InchalbumInch reeks of all the alienation, deception, contempt, add yours here, add yours here and psycho sexualis you could shake a stick or wave a flag at. Sounding like an old drug warped Rock n Roll disc stuck into the chest of a Berg flick it's sure to be thee misanthropic party record of the year and beyond. Idk though, you listen and figure it out you are the listener. Just remember, the Trash is fiiine. FUTURE. KILL
