About this product
When FVNERALS unveiled their debut full-length InchThe LightInch in the summer of 2014, the duo in truth embarked on a journey that would lead them into an ever-growing musical darkness. FVNERALS came into being when singer and bass player Tiffany Ström met guitarist and songwriter Syd Scarlet in the southern English seaside resort Brighton in 2013. Their joining of creative forces resulted in the formation of a dark doom act that also reaches out to and draws from ambient, drone, and a pinch of post-rock to complement what constitutes a particularly sinister and heavy sound. FVNERALS' first sign of life was the self-released EP InchThe HoursInch (2013), which was soon followed by InchThe LightInch. In 2015, FVNERALS returned with the second EP InchThe PathInch and relocated to Glasgow, Scotland where they started working on their sophomore album. When InchWoundsInch hit the scene in 2016, it sparked relentless live activities across Europe in each following year until the pandemic shut everything down. Compared to previous records, FVNERALS have taken an even less optimistic approach to songwriting on their latest masterpiece InchLet the Earth Be SilentInch. This also means that their third album is an artistic gift of beautiful darkness. Album Tracks 1. Oath 2. Vakna 3. Aryd 4. Shine 5. Tiga 6. Closer 7. The Light (Part I) 8. The Light (Part II)

With their sophomore full-length, InchWoundsInch (2016), FVNERALS continued to follow the spiralling descent into the dark musical space that is born from despair, isolation, and pain that the duo had embarked on with the album debut InchThe LightInch two years earlier. Darkness. FVNERALS have created an album that turns the emptiness of the void and the depth of the abyss into sound with their third full-length InchLet the Earth Be SilentInch. The duo gives sonic shape to the silence of extinction that humankind brings to all life on earth and itself. Depression, isolation, and existential despair ooze out of every note. Either Light is the new album from Boston band Vundabar. It marks their first album since 2018's Smell Smoke which received wide critical acclaim from the likes of NPR, Pitchfork, FADER, Stereogum, and many more. Either Light was recorded in 2019 with producer Patrick Hyland (Mitski's Be The Cowboy, Puberty 2, Bury Me at Makeout Creek) across sessions in Philadelphia and New York City. The album sees guitarist/vocalist Brandon Hagen and drummer Drew McDonald exploring new themes and sounds throughout the collection of songs. Hagen says about the album InchWe delved into new sonic territory on this record as we employed the use of electronic drum sounds, guest vocals from Emily Massey (Slow Pulp), samples, loops, vibraphone, synths on synths, sub bass and extensive layering for certain songs.Inch Themes of light and water are recurrent throughout the record. In most every situation that gave rise to the songs on the album, Hagen found myself noticing the intensity of light and how it framed the formation of memory and feeling as well as it's ability to frame and establish or skew perception. Vundabar will be touring Either Light extensively across the world in 2020 behind their much talked about live show. Album Tracks 1. Out of It 2. Burned Off 3. Codeine 4. Petty Crime 5. Easier 6. Never Call 7. Montage Music 8. Jester 9. Paid for 10. Other Flowers 11. Wax Face
