Q: does it work for the ps4?

A: yes. It also works on ps5, xbox 1, and xbox series X/S

Q: volume control keys?

A: No media controls on it it's made for gaming. Its 60% the size...so they mostly cut that out I got mine today :)

Q: Is it hot swappable like I can take the switches and put different switches like red switches

A: Yes it comes with a tool to take out the switches.
