When the technician saw my Wayne Dalton garage door opener, he looked skeptical that the device would work even though the MyQ website said it should. Indeed, the ONLY difficulty he encountered was where to place the speaker unit on the garage ceiling. He didn't take the time to explain the smart features using the Google Assistant or the strange way to connect them but that was pretty simple to investigate and implement on my own. He was in a hurry to install my Nest Hello video doorbell which I'd scheduled for the same day. The only complaint I have is that within two weeks, two different service visits required rescheduling. In BOTH cases, I had called in my order over the phone because they had involved price matching. And in both cases, I received email confirmations showing the date agreed upon. But then, they were followed up by emails saying that I had to reschedule. Upon calling Best Buy, I was told that the agent hadn't "completed" the scheduling. In one case, they were able to come one day sooner than the originally agreed upon date. But I was not so fortunate the second time as I had to wait three weeks for my product to be installed, even though payment was immediate. The installation quality met my expectations but Best Buy needs to improve their scheduling and follow up emails. In some cases, I received follow-up emails showing a different four-hour time window for the installation so this was annoying too as it required me to phone Best Buy once again to confirm that the original time window was accurate.

This oven is the best over all my brevious purchases including my Jenn Air oven previous purchase at Best Buy

I love know if my garage is opened or close. Sometimes when I’m in a hurry and have left house wondering did I close the garage. I can make sure and close it. It put me at ease. I haven’t set it up yet but Amazon can leave packages in my garage. No more porch pirates.

I was excited to learn that the total tech did garage door install. When the tech arrived he said he couldn't do the garage assembly install. Sadly I had prepared for a week thinking I was going to get my door opener installed to replace the old one. I found out then that Bestbuy total tech doesn't do garage door openers. I had to return the door opener and just get my money back for the mis communication on the type of install. I'm still happy with best buy i just know that they dont do everything that I thought the total tech covered.

Had Best Buy's Geek Squad install my Ring Doorbell and other related items like this smart garage door opener. Since I have the Best Buy Pro Service, it was included at no charge. Geek Squad came out within a few days and did a great job setting it up! Highly recommend them!

The agent set the system up. It took a long time to pair the Genie garage door opener to the hardware system. It about 5 tries. We were going to give up after e tries but the technician persisted as he said the garage door model showed it too compatible. Once this was out of the way, works great

The agent came at the agreed upon time, installed the controller, tested it to make certain that it works, and attached it in the best areas for operation. I had received this for Christmas over two years ago, but I did not know how to install it. Now I can check my garage door from my home or away and open or close it using the app.

Best Buy guys helped us solve the problem of remembering to close the garage door of our new place (the door thing hadn't been a habit for some 25 years). Guided us on the product(s) that would work best for us and they handled the rest. Appointment scheduled, the 'experts' arrived and we got to take one more thing off our To Do list.

The Geek Squad rep. arrived as scheduled and installed the MY Q Garage Door Controller and did spend time with me to explain its use. I was very pleased.

I really love being able to control the garage door by phone. I'm really bad at driving away & then wondering if I closed my door. So now i can check on my phone. I'm just having difficluties having Alexa being able to open & close my garage door
