Pearl Jam has just launched InchLightning Bolt,Inch it's first studio album since 2009's InchBackspacer,Inch Producer Brendan O'Brien who has worked with PJ for 20 years, notes that frontman Eddie Vedder Inchsings his ass off on this record,Inch particularly on InchSirens,Inch which he calls Inchone of the best songs they've ever written.Inch He adds that InchSirensInch and another album track, InchInfallible,Inch are both Inchvery melodic and beautiful songs.Inch the recording of InchLightning BoltInch began with sessions in early 2012 after the blitz surrounding Cameron Crowe's 2011 InchPearl Jam TwentyInch documentary and was finished during sessions at Los Angeles' Henson Recording Studios earlier this year. InchEspecially when we were finishing up,Inch O'Brien says, there was a sense of Inchunity, everybody pulling together, and there was a joy about what we were doing. The songs have a lot of drama they're good at that. But there wasn't a lot of drama from the [process], just a lot of everyone enjoying.Inch InchI think it's a great representation of their work right now,Inch O'Brien says of InchLightning Bolt.Inch InchIf you like Pearl Jam, you'll love this. And if you haven't listened to Pearl Jam in awhile, I think it's going to bring you in. That's the whole idea.Inch
Dutch-Belgian band Gare du Nord kicked off early 2001 when producers Doc (Ferdi Lancee) & Inca (Barend Fransen) were asked by a French promotor to deliver the soundtrack for a fashion & lifestyle event in Brussels labeled 'Excellence'. Instead of going just for moody sounds and loungy atmospheres the twosome decided to go beyond synths and beats and composed in three weeks time a songcycle to express their interpretation of traditional delta blues and urban jazz. The debut album In Search Of Excellounge was originally released in June 2001 and was certified gold not long after . The album features the lead off hit single 'Pablo's Blues', dominated by the dobro riff of Lancee and the voice of blues legend Robert Johnson. In Search Of Excellounge is available on black vinyl and includes an insert.
