This is a great device as long as you understand the limitations before buying it. It’s easy to add paths and sync up with the mobile app. The interface is very basic with no topography or road maps. It’s great for navigation along your predefined route. There is a bit of a learning curve, but it becomes intuitive with practice. Pros: long battery life, multi-constellation operation, simple interface, easy app connectivity with Bluetooth. Cons: no dual-frequency operation, no WAAS support, no topo or road maps support. Overall, it’s a great entry-level product.

Simple but effective gps. Not for turn by turn navigation, but it is great for getting there and back. Most will likely pair it with their phone so they have access to detailed maps. I don't use mine in that manner but the option is there.

So far, a waste of $$. I field tested it on several marked trails on local federal refuge land, and all I have now is a vast collection of meaningless waypoints. I've watched countless videos, YouTubes, etc. , and now see using it involves working through a maze of menus controlled by pushbuttons! I've linked it to my phone, etc., but I've just decided to consider it an expensive compass and lesson learned unless I can't get BestBuy to exchange if for something a beginner can use. I've got a couple of old Garmin auto navigation devices which worked great and probably still would, so this is not a comment of Garmin's quality, I just thought this would be a lot more user friendly.
