I am still learning all of the features, but I love this watch. I love that it is water resistant. I feel safe if I should have a fall. Track my sleep my heart rate I just cannot say enough good things about this watch oh, and it holds a charge for a long time.

Love this Garmin To be able to track my runs, workouts and all my activities and also be able to receive my texts and emails all in one, it’s just what I was looking for on it

I bought this watch for when I hike in the woods to track my altitude. This watch apparently doesn’t feature that option even though it was in the specs. Also don’t believe the heart monitor is that accurate. It’s a nice feel watch. Nice sized face. But you can’t download any features from the Garmin IQ store like new watch faces. Pretty disappointed and will be returning.

I wanted to up date my old Garmin watch and this was the best one for the price. It does everything I need it to as well as gives you the ability to pick different screen faces. The only thing I wish it had was body temp( but the more expensive watches have that). Over all great watch and easy to navigate and set up

Beware: If you’re buying this, in part, because it looks purple, it is not actually purple. It is blue. I went to Garmin’s website to see if they had any blue ones, and no blue was listed, so indeed I received the Iris one as ordered. It’s definitely not a purple shade!

I had a Fitbit, and accidentally got it wet so it stopped working. I decided I wanted to upgrade, and a lot of friends recommended Garmin. After some research, I decided on this watch because it did all that I wanted it to do- tracked steps, activities, heart rate and sleep at a reasonable price. It also has a timer and alarm options that I use more than I anticipated. It is super easy to use, and has a long battery life (I only charge it every 3-4 days) and it has yet to "die" on me. I also love that I can use the watch independently of my phone when I want to unplug, but the app has additional features that are nice too (like logging weight, water in take, calories). Overall, I am really happy with my purchase and love my watch!

I started using this watch on 16 Aug 2023 and am reporting on 4.5 months of daily use. It replaced a Forerunner 35 that lasted only 1 year and 12 days. SUMMARY: When it works, the watch is great, but it is highly unreliable. PROS: - Nice size for a woman, and the round face (vs the Forerunner 35's rectangular face) means it snags less frequently on sleeves. - Basic features are all I need, though I do miss having elevation during an activity (was on my Fenix2) - I relied on other reviews that said watch is blue (actually, I'd call it periwinkle) and was not disappointed. CONS - Elevation reports (based on post-activity satellite readings) are oddly 30%-50% lower than on the Fenix2 and the Forerunner 35 I have worn on the exact same biking and walking routes -- including when I wore the Fenix 2 right next to the Forerunner 45, and when compared to other people's watches on a group hike. Note that elevation reported by the Forerunner 45 does not count toward any Garmin elevation-gain badges. - Starting from about week 7, this watch simply won't stay connected to my device via Bluetooth. I have to call Garmin so often I entered it into my contacts. They can see the number of times I have to re-register my watch as if it were new, yet refuse to acknowledge that the watch is defective. Each time Bluetooth fails, it takes 15-60 minutes to get it to reconnect (the same procedure doesn't always work) -- which means re-pairing it and re-registering it as if it were new. Coupled with my experience with the previous model, I'd say Garmin quality is highly questionable.

GPS distance is pretty accurate (it's only been off about .1mi, which is far better than the cheaper competitor's 1 mi I purchased prior to this watch). One review below said that the watch doesn't track elevation, but once you sync with the Garmin app on your phone / computer after you finish the activity, it will give you those specs plus your exact route. You can even plan your runs based on the popular running paths of other Garmin users. Battery life is pretty fantastic if you don't turn on phone syncing throughout the day - I've only had to charge it once in the past week because I sync once every night. My biggest negative is the owner's manual. I had to go on Youtube to figure out how to use the watch and all it's features. After I learned all about that, it was easy.

LOVE this running watch! I owned the previous Garmin so decided to stay with Garmin because it was simple for me to use;) and happy I did! This has ALL (heart monitor-distance-pace-cadence-V02 etc) the functions you need for tracking health stats during a run! Battery life is excellent and VERY easy to use and see while running:) Downloads all info to your online Garmin account on your phone or desktop of course!

I love the color and size along with the tracking accuracy of the watch but navigating how to start and stop and run was not the easiest. I was also disappointed that while it is waterproof it did not have the option to track laps while swimming.

This is my first Garmin watch and I am very pleased with it. The watch has in my opinion better features than the Apple Watch. It records your workouts and sleeping schedule accurately. It is a sharp looking watch and you change the bands. I would definitely recommend to others.

This is the perfect watch for a runner who wants a trustworthy device without all the bells and whistles. Garmin produces great products and this one is no different.

Tidy package for a time piece, features are glitch-ee, doesn’t sync well, watch faces are clunky and basic. Good for dog walkin n very basic fitness tracking, otherwise needs to be reworked. I did not like my Apple Watch, and wrecked it in less than a year. My Garmin Fenix something was awesome, when they redeveloped it, the price went way up so I left the platform.
