Q: Does the power cord supplied fit the GPS, unlike the one that comes with Model 1090?
A: Thank you for your question. The vehicle power cable that connects to the magnetic mount is a special proprietary cable specifically designed for the magnetic mount for the RV 890/895/1090/1095. That cable does not connect to any other ports and no other type of cable can be inserted the magnetic mount. The RV 1090 featured a micro USB port on the side of the device to connect the device to a computer and the RV 1095 features a USB Type C port on the side to the connect the device to the computer. A USB Type C cable is included with the device.

Love this GARMIN for our 5th wheel
We bought this GPS to use in our recently purchased RV. We are very pleased with the 10” screen size. We wanted one that would map out our trips using parameters pertaining to RV’s, such as bridge height. It does that and much more. We also have a backup camera for the RV and this limited our dash space for this unit. So we bought a heavy duty tablet mount that fits in the cup holder of our 3/4 ton RAM truck. Now it’s in a place where we both can see it and it’s easy to reach to operate. We’re happy we splurged on the 10” screen. The price was comparable to other sellers.
