With daylight visibility up to 1 mile, motorists will be able to see you from a distance. The radar’s compact vertical design allows for device mounting on most road-use bicycles. And peloton mode provides a low-intensity flash that is kind to other riders’ eyes when riding in a group.

It records crisp, clear video in 4K and saves footage automatically if it detects an incident (requires memory card, not included; jurisdiction restrictions may apply). The headlight has up to 600 lumens of light intensity and side illumination. Varia RearVue 820 is the rearview radar and tail light that alerts you to approaching vehicles on your compatible Edge cycling computer, Garmin smartwatch or Varia app on your smartphone. With our most powerful and precise radar tracking technology, it detects vehicle size and threat level with a wider field of view. The radar tracking technology identifies vehicles that are following cyclists at the same speed or attempting to pass (same-speed tracking is limited or may be unavailable at slower speeds or when the radar cannot detect the road because of weather conditions or obstructions).
