It looks great, is comfortable enough to wear all day and night, and the battery lasts nearly a week instead of requiring daily charging. The health features are outstanding. Sleep tracking, Body Battery, stress monitoring, and workout recovery insights have genuinely helped me make better decisions about training and recovery. The AMOLED screen is bright and beautiful, and taking calls from the watch is surprisingly convenient. If you want a smartwatch focused on health, fitness, and battery life rather than endless apps, the Venu 3S is hard to beat. Pros: Excellent battery life, accurate health tracking, comfortable size, beautiful display. Cons: Limited app selection compared to some competitors. I wanted this watch mainly to help motivate me to get moving, and it has been doing exactly that. I was coming from an Apple Watch, which is very plug-and-play and easy to set up, so there was a small learning curve at first. However, once I got used to it, I realized how much more customizable and data-rich this watch is. It truly feels like a small computer on your wrist. I also have a smaller wrist and was a bit worried I would find it bulky, especially since my Apple Watch always felt heavy and uncomfortable, which meant I rarely wore it. The Venu 3S is lightweight and extremely comfortable, to the point where I only take it off to shower or charge it. I genuinely hate taking it off, which says a lot. One of my favorite features is how many different activities you can track. It feels like almost anything you do can be recorded, and even when you are very active, it still provides recovery insights, which I love. The sleep score and Body Battery have quickly become part of my daily routine, and the battery life is a huge upgrade, lasting about 4 to 5 days before needing a recharge. Overall, this watch offers far more health and fitness insights compared to the Apple Watch, and it has completely changed how I engage with my activity and recovery. I never reached for my Apple Watch, but this is one I never want to take off. I am especially excited to start using it to train for a half marathon. I recently switched to the Garmin Venu 3S after using an Apple Watch for years, and man how I wish I would’ve switched sooner. This watch is so much sleeker and I can’t get over how light weight it is. It feels great on my wrist, and I barely notice I’m wearing it. The number of exercise activities it tracks is insane. Whether it’s my usual workouts or something new I want to try, it’s got it. And the battery life is honestly amazing. I used to have to charge my Apple Watch daily, but with this, I can go days before needing to plug it in. For the same price as an Apple Watch, you get way more features, a better design, and something that’s actually fashionable enough to wear all the time. I haven’t really messed with it too much but you can use the Garmin app to change the Watch face and side buttons. Which is the only thing I still need to figure out and get used to. The buttons and swipe motions are a little tricky to get used to at first, it seems Garmin watches mainly use the side buttons to navigate, when I’m used to using the touchscreen, but that’s just a learning curve. Overall, I’m obsessed and have zero regrets. I can’t see myself going back to an Apple Watch after this. Highly recommend!

This review is long overdue. I love my new garmin Venu 3s! I’m usually an Apple person and have been for the last 12 years but my 3 year old Apple Watch has been dying on me around 2:00 pm even before I finished work with a fully charged battery everyday. Got my new garmin and it takes me 10 days of use even before I have to charge it and it looks gorgeous and fashionable and I like that I can connect my garmin activities straight to Strava.
