Q: Can I program in a specific route ?
A: Yes, this model includes the Trip Planner feature that can be used to create and save a trip with up to 30 multiple stops. Or if you only want to “shape” a custom route to go the way you prefer; the device has a Shaping Points feature also.
A: It is a hardwired unit to the base. I was able to connect it to my Hog Tunes Bluetooth Device in aux mode.
A: Yes, I have been rained on many times with unit on.
A: Its possible they will work. We strive to have compatibility with most bluetooth devices. However, we cannot guarantee as we dont test all devices in house.
A: Yes, the zumo 396 is compatible with the Garmin BaseCamp program for creating routes and waypoints.
Q: Does this Garmin include weather reports?
A: Yes, weather is included with compatible devices.
Q: Will this work in Asia? And, how much impact can it resist, especially the screen?
A: This device does not come preloaded with Asia mapping nor would we have a supplemental map option available here in North America. The only rating for this device is a water resistance rating of IEC 60529 IPX71, nothing for impact.
