The current GE Appliances disposer line also has a sink flange of about 4.5 inches in diameter and is made of super tough plastic the will not break or rust and is easier to install. great disposal
I hired a plumber to install it since it is heavy duty with 1 hp engine, stainless blades should last a long, long time. Best rated in Consumers Reports and so far has lived up to its rating.

Great garbage disposal
Since I was getting a new dish washer, decided to also replace the garbage disposal. I thought it would've been less noisy than my original, its still noisy but that is Ok, not sure if there is many garbage disposals which are less noisy but it is still in good shape.
