A: No, the sides are not stainless steel. The sides and top are a dark gray color.

A: Yes there is a filter. I love this refrigerator! It has big bins for vegetables and fruits which I have plenty of. It also has really good lighting inside. I thought it was a bargain especially after reading all the reviews that gave it 5 stars.
Q: Is this fridge magnetic? As in will magnets stick to the front of it?

It pulls out like a "drawer" with an opening on the top where you can easily grab ice. The butter shelf in the top of the door in the fridge also comes with a lifting plastic cover, so there is no need to order that part separately. I LOVE My Fridge. *** Highly Recommend ***
I LOVE this refrigerator!! The outside door "crushed ice" feature lands in my glass every single time without any off spray or mess. Extremely quiet. I put my Stanley water bottle placed in there for water and can walk away while it pours perfectly without a spill. Unfortunately, I have to return it for a smaller G.E. (33" French Door, Counter Depth) because the freezer didn't open all the way with my wall, so keep that in mind if you're in my situation. (I should have been alarmed when the BB Delivery men had to take my baseboards and door trim off to push it in). I STILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Enjoyed it for 3 months.

GE Side by Side Refrigerator
This refrigerator is quite and great for smaller kitchen spaces. It is very spacious inside with plenty of storage space. Freezer has a lot of storage space and can hold those large pizzas perfectly. Ice maker works great and the water tastes just like bottled water. This refrigerator is perfect for our family and eazy on your pocket book.

Great fridge!
Quiet, reliable, and unobtrusive. We are happy with our new refrigerator and with the adjustability of the shelves to accommodate items of different sizes. The water and ice dispensers are simple to operate and the ample interior lighting is a plus. We are very happy with our new fridge!
