Q: How to hook up icemaker on my ge fridge
A: The instructions for the installation of the water line for the factory installed icemaker are available in the online Owner's Manual. To access the manual, click on the Features tab and scroll to the bottom of the Features list where you will find a link for the manual. Once the water line is installed, turn the icemaker on using the Icemaker pad on the door. The icemaker will begin making ice once the internal temperatures cool down. -Vikki@GEAppliances

A: Hello - We appreciate you reaching out! The water filter cartridge is located in the fresh food interior on the left side wall, near the top. It should be replaced at least every six months - a filter indicator light will illuminate on the screen when the water filter needs to be replaced.
