I researched almost every refrigerator on the market and decided this GE Side-By-Side Refrigerator would be the right choice. We’ve had it a few weeks now and are very happy. It looks great and has plenty of room in both the refrigerator and the freezer. It does take about a day or so to get the ice maker to fill up. But it works great and keeps the container full. It is fairly quiet but you will hear the ice cubes dropping into the bin. It looks great in our newly refurbished kitchen. I was also very happy with the delivery process. Everything went very smoothly.

We were a little hesitant to purchase a GE brand refrigerator (after owning a Samsung for 10+ years), but after careful consideration and research along with the suggestion of a family member, we made a decision to purchase this side-by-side GE refrigerator/freezer. Its design is appealing and has ample storage capacity in both the refrigerator and freezer sections for our daily use. Since my hands and fingers are affected by arthritis, I was quite surprised at how easy it was to remove the shelves and adjust them to the height that was needed for food storage. So far, we have had this appliance for less than 2 months and enjoying its use. The stainless steel exterior is simple to clean with mild soap and damp cloth. Hopefully, this refrigerator/freezer will last for many years to come.

Purchased this fridge to replace similar GE unit purchased over 20 years ago. With a fridge lasting that long with minimum service, why wouldn't we? I have to say GE has begun to cut corners on quality of materials and construction. First unit had to be sent back as the frame seemed to be misaligned and freezer door wouldn't close/seal properly. 2nd unit was much better in that regard. Want to complain is that the freezer is a bit noisy at times. Not sure if it's due to a vibration, fan or loud compressor. I do anticipate a service call soon while the unit is under warranty. Overall the unit works and is good for the money. We chose this model for its large ice capacity and the ice maker works pretty good. The paddle to dispense the ice and water is plastic and is even more flimsy then our original unit's, which eventually cracked over time. I feel this one may as well if anyone gets too heavy-handed using it.

Great refrigerator and freezer! Quiet and roomy! We had a Samsung and it was nothing but problems for three years. This refrigerator is just as roomy, with shelves on both doors, and it’s very quiet. I like the fact that you have to push each button for water and what type of ice you want. With the Samsung, you had to go through a series and choose the one you needed, but if you skipped it, you had to go through the series all over again. It extends past the countertop, abot 8 -10 inches, but fits perfectly in the area we needed without a problem. The water filter has a countdown button on the door panel to let you know its life expectancy. That’s a great feature! It was quick to cool down upon delivery and moving it in and out was very smooth. This is a great refrigerator! I highly recommend it. 

This was a replacement for our 2004 Whirlpool fridge. It has everything that we wanted: 3 storage drawers in the fridge - one for cheese/meat, one for fruits & veggies, one large one for things like yogurts, cottage cheese, etc. Plus 4 large shelves for food/leftover storage and 5 door storage areas. In the freezer - 2 drawer bins, 4 shelves, 5 door storage and an icemaker!!! Plus for busy families - thru the door you can get filtered cold water and ice. Runs quiet, separate actual temp controls and current temps for fridge/freezer.

I've waited three months to make sure I didn't have a lemon, so... it's big, beautiful and we love it! It's very bright and spacious and the layout of the shelves and drawers, let you see everything nicely. Very happy with the purchase!

I just love this refrigerator! People tell me they don’t like side by side, but this one is amazing! It’s very roomy and I love that it’s fingerprint less.

Great fridge. Quiet and has plenty of room inside. Doors close like butter. Easy to open and close. Tons of lighting to see everything inside the fridge.

Love our new side by side refrigerator… it’s spacious the shelves are adjustable in both the refrigerator & freezer. The no fingerprint stainless steel is a plus and you can also use magnets on the front which was a nice surprise.

Wonderful fridge, this is the most cubic space per dollar I could find. Best buy also offers great warranty and coverage options.

Great value and styling. The interior lights in both compartments are fantastic. It lights up every section. I find the fridge storage to be more than adequate for my needs.

Great refrigerator! I switched from a french door to a side by side and it was a great decision! Love the space and ease of finding what i need. The only issue is that the top of the refrigerator door was scratched during delivery and I didn't notice until I was cleaning the top as shown in my photos.

Measures at 69.5 inches in the middle. It barely fit (even after lower the height in the front)! I thought I was going to have to cut the top. This fridge is great for the price! I like that is has a water catcher (others don't). The water/ice machine's cup height is great. The led lights inside light up everything to see. This thing has soo much space! It does make some noises throughout the day/night, such as the water turning on a off as well as the ice dropping into the tray after being made. Their is some quality control issues such as the corners having shavings/dented in the plastics. All in all it's a great entry fridge that should hopefully last.

I LOVE this refrigerator. Some of the reviews mentioned that it was very noisy, and there have been a few times for me I’ve noticed it’s louder, but overall I’m very pleased with the refrigerator. I’ve probably looked at 100 refrigerators and compared all their features. This one was the best.

Love the look and space of this refrigerator and the price.

Had for about a month now and it is a great fridge. Really quiet except for when the ice maker is doing its thing but now we don't even hardly notice...Though when first installed it was pretty loud for like 5 hours...but now maybe 20 mintues once or twice a day. LED lighting is excellent. Just like most other reviews state, the handles do show more fingerprints but hardly a con.

Very satisfied with this refrigerator so far. Cools pretty quickly, lots of shelf space.

Very nice, no fingerprints and roomy inside. The ice maker works great and the filtered water is super cold. Although the ice maker is not in the door, there is still more room than the older models. I like That gallon size jigs can fit on the fridge door. Overall, we are happy with the purchase.

I appreciate GE brand, I did some updating in my kitchen, and i wanted an upgrade on my refrigerator the previous GE refrigerator I had is still working after 17 years! I just wanted a modern stainless steel finish refrigerator and the price was good and more space, I'm really loving the water and ice feature on the outside door

Very happy with both look and function. Wanted a French door stainless fridge and this one hit the mark.
