Q: Does this machine have a detergent, bleach and fabric softener dispenser?
A: Yes, the dispenser tray is located on the top left of the machine. It is divided in to liquid detergent, softener, and bleach sections. The machine works great.
Q: Can these appliances be stacked?
A: Yes, GE GFW450SSM1WW washing machine and matching GE GFD45ESSMWW dryer can be stacked using the GEFLSTACK Stack Kit.
Q: Can I choose to turn off the steam function while washing? How to do that?
A: Hi Joye - Thanks for choosing GE! You do need to press the "Add Steam" button if you want to add steam to the following cycles: Sanitize, Bulky Items, Active Wear, Towels/Sheets, Normal, Whites. It does not add steam automatically and is not available on all cycles. If you selected Add Steam and want to cancel, simply press Add Steam. A: Hi - Thanks for choosing GE! Horizontal (Front Load) washers do not require the tub to fill with water like top-load washers. Front loading washers uses load sensing and adaptive water fill to provide just the right amount of water for best performance and low water usage. The wash basket will turn briefly and assess the weight of the load. It will also do this after the load is saturated with water to assess how absorbent the load is. With the load weight and load type we can apply the proper amount of water to wash the load. Keep in touch! Sue
Q: What is the warranty on your washer?
A: I think they do only 1 year
Q: Is this a 5.2 cubic ft for $599 or a 4.5? Description says 4.5, but everywhere else says 5.2.
A: It said 4.5 . I just got this today and I feel it is a lot bigger than my old one with 4.0 I can wash a king size blanket with no problem and the washer is so quiet even i choose max spin speed
