I bought this air conditioner to replace my wall unit. Installation was fairly simple and air conditioner blows out ice cold air. I love the wifi feature and it also works great with alexa. I was hoping that it would be quieter than my old unit but noise level seems to be about the same. Other than that, I'm very happy with the purchase.

Only took me and my wife about 15 minutes to install without reading the directions. This is our first smart air conditioner, the app was easy to setup and works well. Ice cold air at 40 degrees coming out of the unit. I set it to auto with the eco on, it turns on and off at around 3 degrees above and below target set temperature. I would buy it again after testing it out.

Excellent air conditioner. I will purchase another one this winter for my downstairs apartment. Easy to install. Strong enough to cool a small apartment. Wi-Fi works. I had trouble setting it up with google home. You may not.

Bought this a year ago and fortunately I bought the insurance because it stopped working, it would not turn on anymore. The ac itself cooled down the room sufficiently and I liked that I could set it up with HomeKit. Very easy to install took me at the most 30 minutes.

I've been using it for a couple of months now i got it installed at the beginning of this year and it works great .keeps the bedroom cool thru the day on eco mode and i like to change it to cool 67 at night its perfect. I love i can switch the temperature on my phone in the app .

I’ve had this unit for about 5 weeks now. The AC cools quickly and effectively, and is better looking that it’s competitors in the same window AC 10k btu category. It’s disappointing that it’s so LOUD on all settings. I’m working from home and I have to shut it off when I’m on Zoom calls because it creates feedback noise people can hear. The vents also don’t do a good job at pointing the air in any particular direction, the air flow is straight forward no matter left/right pointed vents. It also sometimes spits it’s condensation water sideways thru it’s side external vents. It’s was a good price and the value is there, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

Apple HomeKit is awesome. GE also has their own app you can use that probably will give you more features but being able to set the temperature and turn it on and off from HomeKit is enough for me. It also comes with a remote I didn’t use that at all. Works good my room is about 150 sq feet. Haven’t used it all that much but the little times I did it’s been great. The cord comes out from the bottom right side of the unit.

Worked great for one year. 3 days after the 1 year anniversary.... Just keeps beeping, blinking then shutting off a few seconds after trying to turn it on. Filter is clean. Power supply is good. An online search reveals that this is a common problem with this model. Lots of causes, evidently. So why hasn't it been addressed from a design stand point? I expect more from GE. Again, it worked great - until it didn't.

Totally saved me this past hot hot Texas summer of 2023. This filled up my house so nicely. My electricity bill went up. But it was either sweat my butt off & be uncomfortable, or pay the extra money to sit pretty in my own house.

My GE AC is the best it has Wi-Fi and it’s easy to use. It has an amazing app and the best thing about it that you could rename it and use it with Alexa you could control different AC whenever you want. WAY to go GE.

I gave this 4 stars because setting up the wifi to connect to the app is a major pain. However, it takes a lot of patience and will power to stick it out and not give up. As far as the A/C is concerned, I have never had a problem with it and it does well cooling off my room.

I purchased the 10,000 BTU unit because I have a west facing master bedroom/bath with vaulted ceilings and lots of windows, and wanted to be able to cool just that at night, not the entire house with the central AC. This unit handles the heat load very well in this section of the house, even on the Texas gulf coast and without running the central AC. There's a smartphone app from GE which gives you full remote control: on/off, temperature, fan speed. It's great for any place in which you don't keep a predictable schedule but want to cool down before you arrive. The app also tracks runtime and energy stat's, so you can get a good estimate of what it's costing to operate. The styling is nice and unobtrusive - blends in great in rooms with white trim/furniture.

I got for my bedroom, but it cools my whole 2nd floor quickly. But it does not connect to alexa, "that skill is current is unbelievable ."

I purchased this same model and item number more than 1 year ago...I like the one I have in my Man Cave....I will put the new one in my bedroom...GE is a good brand, so I`m happy with having 2 of the same type and BTU!!!

Loved this AC, always worked great and honestly was to good sometimes that I would be freezing on 90 degree days. In the end though it was a terrible shield and was impaled by a tree branch during a storm, and so it died with honor being used as a fan for one last night before being buried with full honors.

It cools our whole travel trailer very well. I keep it on auto at 72 degrees and it work very well for us, keeping the whole place consistently at 72 degrees!

excellent a/c, I had this for 2 years before we upgraded to the 12,000 BTU version. The wifi option is great to cool the room off before arriving from work.

This air conditioner is working great, I have a very large open room (living room, dinning, and kitchen) and it keeps our space comfortable in hot weather. It is also very quiet I often have to go close to confirm the unit is running.

Cools great, but the thermostat is terrible! The room temperature will be about 5 to 6 degrees higher than what the thermostat is set on before it comes on in Eco mode. I usually have to turn the thermostat down 2-3 degrees to get it to come on. It's worse when the outside temperature is cooler than the inside temperature.
