Q: what does MANUAL cleaning for oven mean?
A: Hi TAGG- Manual Clean ovens do not have self-clean or steam clean features, and require cleaning by hand. Frequent wiping with mild soap and water (particularly after cooking meat) will prolong the time between major cleanings. For light food soils, soap, water and a scouring pad should be all that is needed. Tougher soils might require a commercial oven cleaner made for use in a standard clean oven. Be sure to follow the instructions on the product label. The job of cleaning a standard clean oven can be made easier by using household ammonia. Place 1/2 cup in a shallow glass or pottery container in a cold oven overnight. The ammonia fumes will help loosen the burned-on grease and food. A: Hello Sandia. This is RICHARDatGEA. The JBS60DKWW is 29 7/8" wide. Thanks for the question.
Q: Will they take the old oven
A: Yes, but there is a haul away fee.
Q: What wiring is needed to hook up ge model jbs60rkss electric range
A: Hi- GE Appliances does not package the power cord with electric free-standing ranges since it is not possible to determine the type of facilities each consumer has available or what the local electrical codes require (ex. 3-wire vs 4-wire). We suggest to view the Installation Instructions at the following link for complete details: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=31-10816-2.pdf - (POWER / RATINGS: 208V/240V; 40 Amp). Q: Does this range have knobs or is it digital?
A: It has traditional knobs
Q: I will be using a pressure canner. How much weight is allowed on the glass top electric range?
A: Hi - This is a great question, especially for this time of the year! Our range and cooktop glass cooking surfaces (radiant, induction, gas-on-glass) are tested for a maximum weight limit of 50lbs. We wish you all the best! Vikki@GEA
A: Hi - It is not unusual for the element to cycle on and off during use, particularly when using a setting other than high. The burner will do this to maintain your desired setting without overheating the food you are cooking. When you use the smaller right front 6" burner, make sure you are choosing a setting on the left hand side of the burner control knob. If you are and you find the portion of the burner outside the 6" circle continues to heat up, we would recommend having service check your range. We do hope you find this helpful. All or best!
