This dryer replaced an eight year old Frigidaire Gallery Series. The new GE dryer is drying clothes much quicker. I have read some reviews complaining of the buzzer, but it is a nice feature to know when the cycle is about to complete. The nice thing about this dryer is that it has the right amount of dial drying features needed without a bunch of electronics that can typically cost a big service call if gone bad. Also the bottom rear of the dryer allowed enough room for the exhaust to go either left or right behind the dryer with it still sitting close to the back wall. I was lucky to find this as an open box item returned to the store because it was not a gas dryer for the first buyer. Photo shows exhaust located to outside wall.

When I purchased this dryer I was so distraught by the unproductive results I was getting by my previous dyer, I assumed I would spend all of my life restarting the dryer load 2-3 times in a row to still see moist results. When I noticed that this new one was smaller I was worried I may have been accurate in my assumption, but this is honestly the nicest . appliance I've ever bought. Thank you!

Great dryer, but the buzzer is ATROCIOUS!! That's why I lay 4 stars. Do yourself the favor of opening the back panel and disconnect the ground from the buzzer module. The first time it went off it scared me as it is SUPER LOUD and sounds like a jail door being buzzed open. Outside of that the dryer works very well. Dried an entire load of towels in about 30-40 mins

I love it, it drys my clothes really fast. And it would fit in a little bathroom.

I was looking for a dryer that wasn’t gonna cost a fortune I found that in this product and it works very well has enough settings for what I need. I have a small laundry room this fit perfectly!

It’s a nice dryer for the price. Only complaint is how loud it is and that it has a really annoying buzzer that’s sounds 3 separate times when the cycle is done. 3 times and it’s super loud!

I love this dryer. It’s basic and simple with not a lot of buttons or controls and it drys the clothes. I haven’t had any problems so far

Great dryer, lots of nice features. I was happy to have my new dryer installed and ready to go. While running its very quiet but when it’s ready to finish its cycle. Imagine my surprise when the laundry finished. Birds scattered. Deer fled. Neighbors complained. Kids started crying. GE must make the horns for Peterbilt and, to cut costs, installed them in my dryer. There is no way to turn off the buzzer, and now I have to pay for therapy for the neighbors. In a bit of a pickle trying to figure out how to resolve this and keep an otherwise perfect dryer.

This dryer is awesome. You don't need a lot of time to get your clothes dry.

I have bought this dryer about six months ago. It Is still working. Quit few different settings to satisfy everybody. Very loud noise when the load is done. At three different Intervals. Had I known about that before buying It, It wouldn't have happened.

It takes a long time to dry and the door is super hard to close. You need at least 2 drying cycles

Bought the basic because we didn’t want to deal with issues. Had our other dryer over 15 years. Less than a year and already had 1 repair $250 - wire to heating element faulty. Guess what? Wet clothes! Just stopped working again!! Writing the review... Let's see what what happens...

Very easy to use. Dries large loads on 1 cycle whereas my old dryer (Admiral) I had to dry towels and jeans at least 3 cycles on the highest setting. The warning buzzer for when the cycle is complete is loud which I like that because it's in my garage and I can hear it slightly when I'm in the house. I also really like the air fluff cycle for clothes that I hang dry. It gets the stiffness out of them. The door is also reversable which we did, its better because my washer is on the right of it and now the dryer door isn't in my way. I have had this dryer for almost a year now and have had no issues. It works really great and was reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this dryer; I am happy with my purchase.
