A: Just so you know, the replacement is $156. I thought your question was great and I took the GE answer to heart and looked up the replacement part on their website. The big question is how long they will stock and manufacture these given we intend to have this fridge for 10-15 years. No telling when someone might get butter fingers and drop the pitcher...bit of a dilemma. Do you go ahead and buy one now just to be safe or take your chances down the road?

A: Thanks for reaching out to us. Fresh, delicious chilled water can be poured or dispensed from the AutoFill pitcher. It will not dispense water into a separate glass or container. We have not been made aware of any issues with mildew. We recommend cleaning the AutoFill pitcher on a regular basis for best results.

Ge profile french door refrigerator
I have had this refrigerator for a month now. I love everything about this refrigerator, it's not your typical french door refrigerator, it has a flexible middle drawer that you can adjust the temp, it has so much storage area and I just love how it presents itself - a very modern look. There's also an app you can download that comes with a few useful features like controlling the temp, turning on/off the ice machine, control the lighting inside, notification on when the freezer drawer is opened and how much energy it has used a day. Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase, the best buy delivery and install team was also excellent.

I recently switched to the GE Profile 28.7 Cu. Ft. 4-Door French Door Smart Refrigerator, and I’m really happy with my choice. After having a Samsung fridge for 12 years, it was time for an upgrade when it finally broke down. I chose GE because I already have other GE appliances, and this fridge feels sturdy and high-quality. The bright lights inside make it easy to find everything, and I’ve noticed that my food stays fresh longer than it did in my old fridge. One of my favorite features is the middle drawer, which is perfect for holding my water bottles. The fridge runs quietly, which is great for my kitchen. I also love the interior ice maker, although it didn’t come with an ice scoop, so I bought a metal one from Amazon. Overall, I would definitely recommend this GE fridge to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish addition to their home.

Best Purchase
Functional and pretty! This refrigerator has so much space and functional storage. The auto-fill water dispenser has become something I’m not sure how my family has lived without. The freezer is large and opens wide enough that frozen items are easily visible so it doesn’t get lost/buried.
