A: From the floor rack to about one inch below the broiler coil is 9 inches. I roasted a 20 lb. turkey without a rack & probably could have gone up to 23 lbs. The turkey came out great. My 12 qt. stock pot with a lid fits, a 10 qt. graniteware roaster fits. You won't have trouble finding space for big cooking.
Q: How big of a turkey will fit in the larger bottom oven?
A: Hi, AnnJ! I put a 12lb turkey in it last week, and easily had room for a larger one. I think I saw in another review somewhere else that someone was able to fit a 20lb turkey. But for sure, a 12lb one will fit. Happy Thanksgiving!

Beautiful Oven with Awesome Features
Okay, you guys...so unfortunately some of the other reviewers were right. The oven does take quite a bit of time to preheat; however, if preheat time is a big issue for you, you will be able to remotely preheat (if you enable that feature), or even better, just remember to give yourself extra time for preheating when cooking. I wouldn't say the time to preheat is a big enough factor to skip over this oven, because not only is it beautiful, it cooks extremely well. The features are amazing. At first we didn't immediately download the app and connect the oven to our Wi-Fi, but once we did, we got even more features after the oven received a software update, to include air fry. We got more background picture options for when the oven is idle, and now because it's almost Thanksgiving, the display's background shows a beautiful picture of a turkey, and the timer is even a turkey's gobbling sound when the oven is done cooking...so, so funny and cute! I cooked a 12lb turkey in the lower oven last week for my daughter's school and I could've easy put in a larger one. I love how easy the racks go in and out. (The oven also comes with lubricant for the racks if you need it.) Be sure to read the manual!! Especially if this is your first oven in a long time. We baked cinnamon rolls last night using the same settings we used before in our old oven and they actually burned because with this oven we didn't need to leave them in as long as we would've in our old one. Oh! So, we waited 2-3 months to get this oven after we ordered it. WORTH THE WAIT. If this is the one you want, don't let long lead times cause you to get something else. Just be patient and wait for it. :-)

True single-double
It's decent. This is literally the only oven that is a true single-double. Both ovens are wide, not a smaller microwave convention oven on top like most, and it's the height of a single oven. It's basically the same as the one that comes on a GE 30in range with a double oven. Cooks just like any GE oven I've cooked with. Cons: takes about 20% longer than my previous GE oven to get to temp. You cannot see and control both ovens at the same time. The touchscreen only pulls up one at a time. That almost made me return it but I don't often use both so the single-double still won.
