I want to replace an older GE cooktop that uses a 30 amp circuit. Will that be sufficient for this cooktop replacement?
Answered by GE AnswersA 30 amp circuit is not compatible with this cooktop, as m PHP7030DTBB requires a 40 amp circuit.
Does this cooktop have a timer?

Do the two burners on the left bridge to use them both at the same time and to work with a rectangular griddle?
Answered by GE AnswersYes, the Sync Burners capability allows you to sync the two left side, 6" and 7" burners with the touch of a button. This allows you to control the two cooktop burners as one to create a bigger cooking surface for pans such as griddles. If you want the front or rear of the griddle to be different temperatures, adjust the front and rear burners to different settings rather than using the Sync Burners button. Note: The space between the burners does not heat up. However, the burners are close enough together that you still get an even cooking area, especially since using the Sync Burners feature will ensure the burners are at the same temperature and will cycle together.
