We bought this to replace a microwave/ventilation combo because we cook so much and needed a way to remove odors. Seemingly, this is a simple task, and we didn't want to pay an exorbitant amount for a vent hood. This seemed to be a good pick with a higher CFM than the usual and it looked great in photos. When we got it home, we had our handyman install it and install a duct system going through our cabinets. He didn't seem to have any trouble installing it. Overall, we're very happy with the lighting and the ventilation seems more than powerful. Additionally, on the low setting, the vent hood isn't noisy, which is a nice perk to be able to modulate that. We're looking forward to buying a stove with chef connect to have it sync as well.

Looks good and works great. We have had it for 6 mos with no problems.

We purchased this hood to match the GE - Profile Series 6.7 Cu. Ft. Slide-In Double Oven Gas Convection Range. We love the strength of the vents - much stronger than an over the range microwave. The fan has three speeds and is stronger than our previous GE Profile range hood that we replaced. We also really love the Chef Connect feature. This allows the hood to connect to the stove or, to other appliances (that have Chef connect) in the kitchen. When we turn on the stove, the lights illuminate in the hood. The lights dampen off in a muted and really sophisticated manner when the stove is no longer in use. We love it!

I purchased the range hood to macth my new range and side by side freezer. It looks great with the other appliances! I’m glad I purchased it. My old range hood really did not remove smoke and orders, but this one does. For me it was an upgrade to a more powerful hood and with that power came more fan noise that I’ll get use to because it looks and functions so well!

I wasn’t able to get it in early enough for Christmas so I had to buy something else until this one came in very happy with it looks nice with boiling water it does not drip back down onto the cooking surface from the condensation Bright LED lights so it has a very loud fan

Vent hood works great and lighting definitely adds a good feel to the kitchen. Installation wasn't hard. Hood is a little louder than expected but still quieter than the one it replaced. Seems a little pricey for what it is but wife had to have the matching appliances.

I bought this range hood along with the GE profile oven, cook top, dishwasher and microwave. This hood is a different stainless then the other GE appliances, It's more gray and you can tell it's not the same. It's a basic range hood and I think the price is way to high. Should be under $300 imo.

Works okay. Bought it to match my other GE Profile appliances. Expensive for what it does. My ancient unit seems to have had better airflow than this unit. Look at other units that may perform better. Looks great and bluetooth connectivity to my range is awesome, but that is the best feature.

Haven't really had the chance to use it as it was just installed but I can tell you it comes with almost none of the items required to do the installation. E.g. no power cord, no electrical connectors, no mounting screws.

Matches great with Cafe series cooktop. I turn on the lights each night and the soft lighting gives the kitchen such a nice ambience. The fan works great too... not too noisy.

This range hood has a nice sleek design and is quite powerful. The 2 filters are easily accessible for cleaning. The LED lights adjust brightness levels with a simple finger tap.

This is very high end looking love the lighting and that the filters are washable. Goes great with my other appliances

Very nice styling and performance with this hood. Coordinates with the rest of the GE Profile Appliance Package in my home.

This thing has great power! And quiet too. What more could you want? Very happy with the purchase.

Thin metal, scratches and dents easily. Filters have a poor locking system.

Quit motor ,bright lights , fan works great and easy to install

Nice range hood. It is quiet and has a powerful fan.

Basic capability is good. The glass touchpad was nearly impossible to operate, took taps, hits, presses - sometimes to no avail. Then after having it for 1 year and 4 months, quit working.
