Attractive and easy to use and clean. The touchpad is super sensitive, be careful leaning or setting anything on the power buttons. Heats fast and I’ve yet to need a setting higher than , it gets quite hot. Love the flex burner for larger pots. Nice unit for the price.

We wanted to go all electric and reduce use of natural gas. Researched and selected this product. Easy installation, dropped right in the granite counter cutout for our GE Profile 36" gas cooktop, perfect fit. This product is easy to use and more responsive to heat changes than turning the gas up or down. Easy to clean with a distilled water, vinegar and dish soap mixture. Nothing bakes onto the surface. Very happy with our choice!

This Is the worst experience I have had with a retailer. They delivered the cooktop with a completely shattered glass top. told me there was nothing they could do and referred me to the manufacturer. Manufacturer offered to sell me a new one for $2000. Pathetic. I will never shop here again. I'm beyond disappointed I have been a Best Buy customer for years and never expected to be treated this way.

Converted to induction cooktops a few years ago. This is our second one, installed in our new build. Had used a similar kitchen aid cooktop for our revamped kitchen at our previous home. Decided this GE had a better layout, more functional design and useful burner sizes. And it heats quickly. Still getting a feel for the temp ranges. Burns hot at times. The controls are a tad sensitive, but we make use of the lock control. Really enjoy the sleek, almost flush top against our counter. Still trying to figure out how to keep them completely clean. Inductions sometimes accumulate a hardened film over the burner if grease splatters or water boils over. Over we get a lot of heavy use from it and enjoy using this midrange stove. Our favorite so far.

This cook top is the best ever. Due to the power needs, some electrical work was required. This almost prevented me from purchasing this item. After the installation was complete and after the first couple of uses, all of the extra work was definitely worth it. There needs to be more hype for the induction type cook top. Instant temperature change. Nothing burns on the cook top. Easy to clean up. And the best "pro" of all is that it doesn't heat up the kitchen area.

Once you go induction you never go back. This is my 2nd induction cooktop (be aware the top is made of glass and can break). Just an amazing cooktop and looks amazing. The only negative I have is the buttons are dark and it is sometimes tough to see what you are clicking when it gets dirty.

Love it. Was easy to install (was a replacement for a similar cooktop). Works great. Love the induction. However, have to make sure the bottom of the pots and pans are magnetic. Easy to clean. Just be careful not to scratch the black circles with the bottom of the pans.

I am a licensed General Contractor. I updated my personal kitchen recently. GE is so smart and spot on. I had a GE gas cook top and wanted to replace it with an induction cook top. After research, I bought a GE induction top that was designed to drop in my existing granite counter top. No modifications. I love the simplicity, functionality, PRICE! Of the unit. Saved thousands of dollars! Best Buy salesman lead me right to it and in 5 minutes, it was ordered. Delivered to my door in a few days. Zero % financing was a dream. So if you wish to upgrade, share ur existing gas top manufacturer, model, etc. And Best Buy will take care the rest!

My cooktop was easy to install--my husband did the work--and it is also easy to keep clean. I really like the clean design and five elements. This is my first induction cooktop, and I am very pleased with the quick heating and cool surface.

This Cafe’ Induction Cooktop is the bee’s knees. It is very reactive to temperature changes, it’s the next best thing to cooking with gas, without the danger. It’s very easy to clean and it looks great! Much better than the first one we bought. We’d buy this one again!

Good value (open box), works great!! High amp - caused me to rewire - but not works quick and fantastic. Had to pick up in LA and bring to PHX but save $ 1000. over same model.

Bought this to replace the previous model which I unfortunately smashed by dropping a bottle of olive oil on it after 6 years of happy use. So, it's not bullet proof--a non-glass cooktop would have been fine. I'm still replacing it with the same cooktop because it's worth it. So fast, so efficient, so versatile, easy to clean, and good looking. I use cast iron cookware on it. After 6 years it no longer had a perfect glass finish (scuffs on the burners--kind of an even patina where the pans sit), but still looked good. I assume this one will wear similarly. If you care more about perfect looks than function, you may want something else.

I like the cooking technology and the size but the cook top scratches easy. I use the correct pots. I had flat cook top for over 18 years that were not inductions and had very little problems with scratching. I only had unit for less 2 years and it has a lot of scratches.

It's working very well but in dim light very hard to read the controls. Happy so far but haven't gotten to use it much yet.

Water boils almost before your ready. It is hot and cold as quickly as gas but with none of the danger. The only disadvantage is technical you can only turn it only high and lower it where I am use to turning it. The lower rangers are still quite hot until you get all the way to 1 and 2 which are almost to cool. Very easy to clean.

Nice looking with high regard for making it look modern. Technically, it works well and highly intuitive

It’s a night and day difference compared to a traditional electric oven. Boiling water is under 3 minutes depending on the amount you put in. Has a safety lock which yiu can press with your finger so you or your kids don’t accidentally turn it on. Get it.

The cooktop works great and is easy to use—hoping that quality has improved since I owned a similar model that only lasted 3 years. Delivery and installation by Best Buy was a nightmare in scheduling and rescheduling due to them not having the product available, but actual delivery and installation service was great once it finally arrived.

We like how easy it is to clean with no knobs on the cooking surface, It requires a 50 amp breaker and 6 gage wire to power the 36" model so check what you have in your home. The induction cook top makes a ticking sound when the burners are turned on until the elements get broken in. They do not include a full length manual with it you have to download and print it your self if you want a copy.
