Great air conditioner, cools our large living area nicely. It was easy to set up. Nice that we can still see outside thru the window we put it at. I would highly recommend these air conditioners they are not only great GE backed up units but also much safer then regular air conditioners to have hung allowing you to just about close your window and it include a window lock stopper.

Units are heavy, they recommend two people for installation. It sits low only needed the window open about 5 inches. seals nice and snug with provide foam rubber sides. 10,300 btu is good for my 12x14 bedroom and bathroom. Smaller rooms could possibly down size.

Only comment so far is that the labels on the remote and the unit can be difficult to read because of the lack of contrast. The unit is very quiet when in the quiet mode!

I was pleasantly surprised by the U shaped design. I don't like a bulky AC unit sitting on the window. This design is perfect for a Window unit. It cools my office more than I deserve.

The mfg could have done better with the instructions! Other than that, it’s really nice. Nice and quiet

Recently moved into a home that doesn’t have central air, so I had to purchase an ac for the first time. I have ZERO complaints about this one. The downstairs is an open floor plan, roughly 750 sqft and it definitely cools the entire first floor! The thing is a workhorse! So convenient to control it via the app and I don’t find it loud at all when its on. Also love the fact that I can still see out of the window its in - such a cool design.

This AC installation is very easy. Style is attractive. The design that hangs down under the window allows for a very clear view out of the window. Very quiet. I have purchased two more units because I was so pleased.

[Employee of bestbuy] The unit I received looks like someone sat on it then kicked it a few times, that being said it keeps the room cool BUT auto option is basicly useless. It would also be great if it displayed the rooms temperature oppose ro me having to break out my smartphone and loading the app just to check.

Love the format of this A/C and Its low profile look wont cover your view of the outside.Also have to say its pretty quiet..did its job keeping the livingroom cool..

Absoultely a great air conditioner. Cools the entire bedroom ice cold and its great having use of the window as well.

I have had this unit for almost 2 years now. Installation was easy and I had the unit cooling my bedroom in no time. One negative is that you cannot buy replacement foam panel to fill in on the side of the unit. If you mess up and cut it too short, you have to go search for something different to replace it with. I contacted GE after I bought the unit and was told the only way to get the foam panels is with the unit itself. As far as the unit itself, it works really well. It's quiet, efficient, and keeps my bedroom nice and cool. It has done really well, but its longevity is a concern. I've had mine for just under 2 years, and it is time to replace it already. Some of the buttons on the unit itself stopped working several months ago. This wasn't a big deal, since I mostly used the remote or WiFi to turn it on. About a month or 2 ago, the WiFi stopped working on it. I've reset everything and it seems to just be out. This is a little more annoying, since if I was getting home late I would turn it on from the app so the bedroom would be cooled off when I get home. Now, it is not cooling as well as it used to. It now takes a couple hours to cool off the bedroom. This unit does well and maybe mine is the exception that in less than 2 years it needs to be replaced, but I do wonder if other brands may last longer.

Easy install, whisper quiet, and super cold air! Great product

Really quiet. Keeps garage nice and cool. Only thing is instructions don’t clearly show how to drain it. I am not sure if the plug inside needs to be removed. Tried with fingers to remove but wouldn’t come out. Left it alone so as not to break something.

Works great. But unfortunately arrived with bent frame and damaged finish.

Easy to install. Costing 42 cents a day to keep an upstairs 350square ft room at 72 degrees. Very quiet on the inside but does have some chatter outside the house or would have been an easy five star. I do recommend this unit.

GE profile ac . Great machine works and very quite . Have it attic office cools the room down . Get one before the summer starts

Cool mode works well when you need the area cooled, quiet mode is great when you want to prioritize low noise and eco mode is great when you want the AC to be energy efficient
