A: Hi ka103wi! Great question! We'd be happy to help out! Yes, the roller rack in the upper oven can be used in place of one of the other standard racks in the lower oven. Q: Most new glass cooktops allow canning with flat bottom pot. Does your GE model allow canning?
A: Hi there, RB - Great question! Canning is not harmful to cooktop surfaces when using flat bottom canners. When canning, use recipes and procedures from reputable sources. These are available from canning jar manufacturers and county extension offices. Do not use large diameter canners or other large diameter pots for frying or boiling foods other than water.
