Answered by GE AnswersHello - this is Nancy at GE and I am happy to help you. This is a stack rack, whereby you can place a spacemaker dryer over a space saving washer. They are two separate units. The electric dryer comes in both 240 Volts and 120 Volts and will need to be vented to the outside. If you get a portable washer, it comes with a uni-couple that can be connected to your sink faucet.
