As 1st prize winner of the 2022 ARD Music Competition, the Barbican Quartet is one of the most sought-after young string quartet formations. The internationally composed ensemble is now releasing it's debut album on GENUIN InchManifesto on LoveInch, with works by Leos Janacek and Robert Schumann. The contrast between Schumann's expansive musical lines and Janacek's nervous surfaces and ecstatic outbursts could not be greater - yet the Barbican Quartet unites them as expressions of human need for love, for togetherness. Two works of the most intimate musical genre played at a phenomenal level!

Jonathan Hope returns to Willowhayne Records to present the sixth in their critically acclaimed 'Experience' series. Played on the stunning Harrison & Harrison organ of St Mary Redcliffe, Bristol, (of which Arthur Harrison considered the instrument his best work), Jonathan Hope has chosen a selection of pieces that are perfectly suited to show off all the colors of this magnificent instrument, with the album including his own transcriptions of Brahms' Tragic Overture and Elgar's In the South (Alassio). Several of the works on this are receiving here their world premiere recordings.
