I ordered a refurbished model because I've always had good experiences with Best Buy refurbished items; however, Best Buy should be ashamed of what they sold me! For the cost of a brand new console, I received a product that had no product protection at all with everything (console, stand, cords, etc) simply thrown into a box. Pretty much everything was scratched, gouged and banged up. Some of these deep scratches and gouges could not have happened in shipping and were likely there when the item was "packed" (AKA, thrown into a box). Not only did it look like it was dropped on gravel and dragged by a bicycle, it was also missing parts that it should have been sold with. Sending something like this and asking a new sticker price to a customer shows the ultimate disrespect. This would have sold for only half as much on ebay in "used/fair" condition.
