I received the Geeni CW021 Pan&Tilt Camera as a gift. I have several security cameras, all of different brands, and this is the worst. The camera always turns to point straight down after turning, resulting in no picture, and I have to manually turn it. More recently, the camera turns off itself and/or resets itself despite no Wi-Fi connectivity issues, and of course each time the camera proceeds to point straight down. I contacted customer support about these issues, who said they would forward this to the warranty team for a replacement, but 1.5 months later after multiple follow-ups, there is still no word. So I haven't been able to verify if I received a defective item or the issues are present in all copies of this product, which may very well be the case. More detail on the issues: If I turn the camera off for a while and then turn it back on, after the camera finishes its initial automatic moving around at the start, it ends up pointing straight down, resulting in a completely black picture with nothing visible. It is not in private mode, etc. In the app, if I swipe on the picture feed, I am only able to move the camera horizontally, not vertically, so I have to go to the device to manually move the camera vertically up to make things visible again. More recently, my camera has been restarting itself or even completely disconnecting from the WiFi. In either case, it results in the camera pointing downwards again, requiring manually turning it to a usable position. In the app, it says both the device and firmware are up-to-date.

I have two other Geeni cameras and they work great so I thought this would be a great addition. But I’ve had many issues with this camera recording anything onto an SD card. I first had a 32GB then went up to a 128GB and it’s recognizing the motion but never actually records anything. And I’ve never had that problem with the other two cameras. I’ve formatted both cards and changed the settings and I’m still having the issue. Cameras pan and tilt work great so does the two-way communication. It would have a better rating from me if the recording feature would work.

Geeni - Pan and Tilt indoor Wi-Fi wireless connected network surveillance camera works excellent. Motion & noise modes together advise of any noise or motion around the area you settle it. I highly recommend it for the price and easy to install and operate with your phone.

I have a number of these installed. The app is easy to use. The first camera installed perfectly. I had to install the second one twice, not sure if that was me or the camera or the app. Either way, they work well for the cost and give a good picture. I like the fact that I can be away from home and pan around to see if anything is going on. The motion detection works well as does the night vision.

Love, love,love it! Needed a small camera for indoor use, to see the family room. I love that it's not a fixed view. I can pan around the room and see everything. No contracts if you don't need one and super cheap if you do. Easy set up in just a few minutes, almost plug and play. It freaks my dogs out because I can correct bad behavior with the 2-way audio.

Works well for when I’m not home. Super sensitive to picking up noises. Had a few issues with WiFi connection. But still a solid product.

Camera worked great then all sudden last 2 to 3 months kept going offline. Rest button wasn’t working anymore and had to unplug every time. Disconnected it redo but wouldn’t work reconnecting. Had trash it

Easy to install and set up. Everything works great. Pan and tilt, record, screenshot, sound, color. In low light it is more black and white. Can swipe the screen on my phone or iPad to move the camera instead of using the arrow function. Can pinch to zoom. I have dsl at 1.5 so there is some lag when I pan the camera and some times a lag in streaming. Very happy with unit. Enough so I will be purchasing another.
