This important film attacked antisemitism in the 1950s . This film unfortunately is indicative of today . It seeks out ignorance and hate that have NO BASIS AS IT HAS TODAY . THIS IS AMUST MUST WATCH . THE ACTORS GREGORY PECK AND JOHN GARFIELD [ A JEWISH MAN HIMSELF ] TOGETHER WITH GREAT TRUE WRITING ARE SUPERB TO SAY THE LEAST . THE FACT THAT THIS EXISTS TODAY SPEAKS VOLUMES ABOUT THE 30 % OF AMERICANS WHO SHOULD NOT BE HERE

The first major Hollywood film to tackle Antisemitism, and unfortunately still relevant in the year 2019. I also highly recommend a great film-noir from the same year called Crossfire. That film also deals with Antisemitism and was the first B-Movie ever to be nominated for best picture at the Oscars.
