This important film attacked antisemitism in the 1950s . This film unfortunately is indicative of today . It seeks out ignorance and hate that have NO BASIS AS IT HAS TODAY . THIS IS AMUST MUST WATCH . THE ACTORS GREGORY PECK AND JOHN GARFIELD [ A JEWISH MAN HIMSELF ] TOGETHER WITH GREAT TRUE WRITING ARE SUPERB TO SAY THE LEAST . THE FACT THAT THIS EXISTS TODAY SPEAKS VOLUMES ABOUT THE 30 % OF AMERICANS WHO SHOULD NOT BE HERE

The first major Hollywood film to tackle Antisemitism, and unfortunately still relevant in the year 2019. I also highly recommend a great film-noir from the same year called Crossfire. That film also deals with Antisemitism and was the first B-Movie ever to be nominated for best picture at the Oscars.

A wonderfully thoughtful and dramatic story battling against prejudice and narrow-minded views. Gregory Peck is solid and the script is great. It hasn’t necessarily aged well (a la #metoo & #blacklivesmatter) but it started something

This movie deals with the topic of Anti-Semitism, a timely topic but one which was controversial in 1947. Still, the movie makes some good points without ever feeling preachy. I highly recommend it.

Gentleman's Agreement (1947) This 40's movie helped expose "polite" discrimination against Jews during Post WW II America. It is still worth viewing today.

Very good movie, picture quality is good as well and the story line highlighting the prejudice which prevailed and still sort of prevails

One of Kazan’s masterpieces. Gregory Peck is wonderful as always. Message is still relevant today.

Sometimes movies still feel fresh and sometimes they don't. While Peck is great here, the movie doesn't quite stand the test of time.

My wife loves the classics, but there is only so much you can do with Blueray
