Get Thrashed - DVD

A classic punk rock movie from 1980 starring Richard Hell, illustrating the end of the first wave of New York City punk rock better than any other documentary. Featuring Andy Warhol and members of the Voidoids and the Ramones, this long lost film is like a time capsule from pre-Disneynification New York City sleazy, dirty and most importantly, real. Includes a lengthy new interview with Hell about the film and more.

The motorcycle-gang leader of the Black Souls steals the girlfriend of the rival Glory Stompers' leader in a fracas. In revenge, the Glory Stompers go after the Black Souls to get the young woman back, who had nearly been sold into the Mexican white-slave market.

MARGARET CHANG reluctantly returns to her hometown along with her hapless brothers to deal with the sudden depression of their complete-jerk father, whom everyone happens to hate. In fact, he's actually more pleasant being depressed, so the siblings wonder if it's worth struggling to get him better. In the meantime, their forced time together allows them to reconnect as a family, reminisce about the bad times with Dad and maybe even help each other out in the process in this multi-award-winning comedic drama feature film.
