Over time, the memory of the brilliant virtuoso that was Eugene Ysaye (Liege, 1858 - Brussels, 1931) ended up supplanting his status as a composer in the collective memory. It should be remembered, however, that Eugene Ysaye created, through his works, a fundamentally new and original genre, distinguished by a science of writing and harmonic richness. This album brings together concert works by Eugene Ysaye which, with the exception of the Saltarelle carnavalesque, have never been recorded in their orchestral version. It therefore invites us on a unique journey into the composer's sound universe, from his first to his last compositions written for soloist(s) and orchestra.

War Babies is the third studio album by the American duo Daryl Hall & John Oates, released in 1974. The album marks a shift in their musical style compared to previous releases, embracing a more experimental and progressive rock sound, while still blending elements of soul and pop. Hall & Oates explore deeper, more complex themes and sounds on this record. Though InchWar BabiesInch didn't achieve the commercial success of their later albums, it has gained respect among fans for it's unique, boundary-pushing style, which foreshadowed the duo's success in the 1980s. The album was produced by Hall & Oates in collaboration with the legendary producer and engineer David Foster. Interestingly, InchWar BabiesInch is often regarded as an overlooked gem in Hall & Oates' discography.

One of the modules in the exhibition MusicaFemina - Women Made Music, presented in 2018 in Vienna, featured 100 female composers who have characterized female composition of music from the time of Sappho to the present day. When the exhibition was open for two months and viewed by 56,000 visitors, the poet, filmmaker and composer Sophie Reyer had the idea, inspired by her ancestresses, of composing 100 poetic texts to complement the series of 100 short biographies. She offered the 100 poetic passages as texts or audio portraits to contemporary composers for composition, with the poet eagerly creating postscripts for those particularly forgotten, those whom the female composers particularly wished to be remembered. The compositional work about the ancestresses was a voyage of discovery into the history of the female composers; into one's own history. This poetic-musicological project represents an impressive, profound snapshot of female composing, a poetic encyclopedia, a first-time and unparalleled bridging of the chasm between historic and contemporary composing. It is an opportunity to take a look at the history of music and clear the path for further opportunities.
