About this product
Looking for a bass drum beater that adapts to you—not the other way around? The Gibraltar SC-DSAB 6.25" Self-Aligning Bass Drum Beater is designed to bring out your best playing by automatically adjusting to deliver perfect, centered strikes every time. Whether you’re laying down grooves in the studio or powering through an energetic live set, this dual-surface beater offers two tonal options: felt for that smooth, vintage warmth, and rubber for a punchy, articulate snap. Simply rotate the head to match your musical needs. The self-aligning pivot design takes the guesswork out of positioning, making sure the beater head hits your bass drum squarely—even if your pedal angle changes mid-performance. The result? More consistent sound, reduced fatigue, and fewer flat spots on your drum head. At 6.25 inches, the shaft fits most standard pedals and installs in seconds. Built tough with Gibraltar’s renowned hardware durability, this beater is a solid addition to any drummer’s toolkit—from beginners to touring pros.
